Cafe Basmaccino

I usually pop in here at least once a week to grab a salmon and cream cheese bagel for breakfast when I miss a train. The team who run the cafe are absolutely lovely I have to resist more regular bagel visits. They have been fine with me paying by card even if the signs still suggest cash for under a fiver. There’s a few spaces to sit usually always a free seat as most people get takeaway but great if cold outside. They do a bunch of breakfasty items, some cakes/snacks as well as drinks I only bought ribena and water so can’t speak on the hot drinks

Great little spot to grab coffee while waiting for the train. They don’t take card, but there’s a cash machine on your way into the station so no big deal. The staff are friendly, speedy and really get to know their regulars. There’s only ever two members of staff but they always speed through orders. They have a small selection of pastries, bagels, fruit and soft drinks available too.

Grab a coffee from here on occasion when passing through Norwood Junction station, always good coffee. Great customer service, owner and staff always friendly and polite. Have a small selection of pastries too.

I regularly grab coffee from here in the mornings. The coffee is GREAT, the service is quick and the staff are lovely.

They make you use cash when it's less than £5. That's outrageous, Covid lasts 3 days on cash

Nice people running this place but the coffee is awful. Had to throw it in the bin - really burnt and weak!

Best coffee in the area, always served with a smile, and opens so early it’s unbelievable.

No cards accepted, so cant say about taste. Not enough staff during peak times
