Had a lovely brunch here recently. Staff were fantastic and the food was amazing. Perfect poached eggs and very tasty. Best coffee I've had in a long time while out and about.
The 1st star was for the food and the second one was for Nataliya who was very helpful, The roasted bean is very lucky to have her, very attentive, positive attitude and brilliant customer service skills. Pay Rise!! Or manager position As a working black woman living in crystal palace for over 11 years with my 2 children under the age of 5... I do not expect to be treated as a criminal. The man ARTISAN was absolutely attempting to embaress me with I must pay first rule as well as speaking louder when the card declined. Not to mention the woman who was staff decided to stare at me consistently which was extremely uncomfortable. Between them both they had no smile whatsoever and the man seems to have a racial issue as if black money isn't good enough. I hope you both find it within to make a better difference within hospitality and business. I will not be returning again. I may just be one customer, but reputation is important and so is balancing between people labour and communication skills. I should have went Morgan and Watson, No worries next time!!! All the best.
Lovely cosy cafe, nice atmosphere and tasty coffee! Good brunch choices and a nice summer terrace
Good coffee hence the two stars but the sausage sandwich was appalling. One big panini roll, no butter, ONE small sausage cut thinly and spread over part of the panini. No garnish. The saddest breakfast I’ve had in a while which was such a shame as really looked forward to coming here after seeing the other reviews.
This is a lovely intimate cafe with seating at the front and rear of the building as well as inside. They have created a little oasis of calm tranquility in the restaurant, and many people tend to work from this space. Food is simple but nice with plenty of healthy choices as well as naughty treatsespecially the almond croissants!. All on one level, dog and children friendly, very accessible. Would recommend.
First of all, I love this place. Food is great. However, it has become really difficult to get a table because of all the people working on their laptops. There could be communal tables for laptop workers so others wanting to eat can have space too.
Nice coffee, but sadest attempt at a sausage sandwich ive ever hadFood: 1/5
Great coffee and service at this cafe. Plenty of seating in the busy spot on the Crystal Palace triangle, a great place to work or relax.
Lovely place. Quaint and convenient being right next to Herne Hill station. It was busy! A clear sign of happy visitors!Food: 3/5
What a lovely establishment. The menu looks really good. I only popped in for a takeaway coffee but want to go back with the missus when possible.Food: 5/5
