Helpful, patient, friendly and honest . Bought a nice little Citroen C4 from DJR recently , Dan and Audey were great to deal with . Having found a few issues I called them back and the response was superb. Car was taken back, a decent courtesy car provided and all the issues fixed, and the vehicle was cleaned and valeted again before its return. Nice guys, a pleasure to do business with.
Bought a Citroen Picasso 31/1/17 upon leaving the forecourt a faulty engine light came on, I asked Dan about this, and he said it needed fuel, he took the car and put £10 in. I drove the car back to Weymouth, not only did the faulty engine light keep showing, but the window drivers side didn't work. next day I had to drive it to Manchester as sister seriously ill. Drove the car for two weeks that I was in Manchester, car faulty light continued to show, window not going down, which was a pain as I was visiting hospital twice daily, and couldn't wind window down for the ticket, had to keep getting out the car, however, car drove ok. Two weeks later drove it back to Weymouth, luckily it didn't break down on the way home. Back in Weymouth the engine kept cutting out, so unable to drive, and I need the car for my work. I phoned Dan and he said I had a 3 month warranty, so not to worry, he would attached it over to me. Took the car to a garage, they said these warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on. Took it to another garage, with diagnostic imagery, it took them until 24/3/17 to get the car back on the road, the garage had to get a Picasso engineer out. The final bill was £477.36, which I paid, and was assured I would get the money back. Next day my car wouldn't start, RAC came out and I needed a new battery, another £110. Sent copy of bill to Auto Protect, didn't hear back for weeks, repeat emails went un answered, eventually told the garage hadn't sent the diagnostic imagery. Eventually after numerous email, I received one back from Auto Protect to say the repairs carried out on my car are not covered by their insurance. During this time I contacted Dan and he wasn't very helpful, I sent him another email a couple of weeks ago, with an attachment of Auto Protect email refusing to pay me, not surprised I haven't heard back. Very very fed up customer, think twice before you buy a car from him as after sales service is none existent. Also, not only was I out of pocket having to pay a fortune on bus fares, I also needed new tyre's as the MOT that Dan was so pleased to say had just passed, what he failed to say was the tyre's only just scraped by so that was another expense. I am currently out of pocket to the tune of £870 due to problems with this car. Check you MOT before you buy.
Brilliant service from dan and his team at DJR. Can’t speak highly enough them. Enquired about the vehicle I was interested in on Wednesday. Dan sorted the finance, had a new mot and pdi check done, all ready to pick up on the Saturday. Reliable, friendly and highly knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend Djr car sales. Thanks guys.
