Story

At Cyclelane we give the best advice on buying a bike to suite your needs and service any brand of cycle, We will change a tube, build a wheel to strip down and rebuild a bike.

At Cyclelane we are dealers of Felt, Orbea, Marin, Wilier, Moda and Forme. We also have a full range of BMX bikes from brands such as Felt, Haro, Premium and Cuda bikes. For the kids be we have bikes from Felt, Orbea, Raleigh, Bumper, Cuda and Kiddimoto balance bikes as seen on The Dragons Den.

Cyclelane were quick to repair and fitted parts well, but were far too keen to up-sell on new parts. I took two bikes in for repair, a racing bike and a mountain bike. I had ridden 1900 miles, on the racing bike, over 8 months (from new bike) so the chain needed replacing and I was getting noise from the rear wheel. Cyclelane mechanics told me that I "needed" to replace the cassette. I have subsequently learned that I should be getting 4K - 4.5K miles out of the cassette, especially if I look after it, which I do. They didn't spot the bent spoke, which was the solution to the noise issue (I did ask them to look at that issue). With the mountain bike I was told a new wheel was needed, but it turned out to be the freehub was worn, which is a fraction of the cost of a wheel. They do have a good range of cycle accessories, which tend to be more expensive than on-line, but you have the convenience of buying straight away. I have shoppeed there before and I would shop again, but will be taking repairs elsewhere from now on.

Just purchased a new Felt for my wife. Delivery was excellent and the price was spot on. Will definatley use when i change my Cube. Bike was not fully assembled but 1/2 an hour and was sorted. Great service Guys!!
