Currys PC World featuring Carphone Warehouse

Bought a washing machine on-line and went to the store to collect it. They took the old machine to re-cycle it for free, and a very polite and cheerful chap wheeled the new machine out to my car. All staff in the store were polite, helpful and knowledgeable and the item was a good price compared to other outlets. The store itself has pretty much any electrical item you want at a range of prices to suit all. Most items seem to be in stock and there are "manager's specials" that can be a real bargain.

Bought 4k TV and speaker. We was lead to believe we saved £100 on speaker when bought with TV which was £299 in the end. Employee 135 then went to see if he can get us freebies. Wasn't only until at home and on receipt that we was charged for the freebies and in store they said they was to freebies to save money but I was told I was saved money by buying speaker with TV and they wouldn't take my word for it. Been loyal to them for years, not anymore. Be careful when offered freebies and check receipt. I've been mislead by a company that I thought would never do this and refuse to do anything about it in store. This was the Harlow retail store.

Needed a washing machine as ours broke down the night before. Checked stock online before going but in spite of showing stock of the machine i wanted instore they apparently didn't have one!!! Managed to find a different one at a similar price in stock and after the usual sales pitch of we recommend you take out insurance and don't fit yourself blah,blah paid for it and they trollied it out to my vehicle & helped to load it.

Good service but takes a long time to buy anything and that is if they have it in stock. Could do with a bigger variety of desk top systems. I only use a laptop if I'm going mobile but you can't beat a proper desktop system for use at home and upgradability .
