Don’t judge a book by its cover… From the outside, the Curry Centre looks about as basic as you can get. You might wonder if they are serious about what they do - we did. Well, they are serious. Really serious. We’ve been struggling to find a decent curry in East Bristol, and this was GREAT. Hands down the best we’ve found. Lovely, well balanced flavours. Great sundries. Super pricing. Appreciated the complimentary and very tasty onion bhajis. Very impressed. Our new go-to!
Great service and food was of a very good standard. Prices are extremely low for an Indian takeaway. They have 4 out of 5 stars for hygiene.
Fantastic food! Love the chicken pasanda and chicken malaya and all the wonderful food I've had in the past. The staff are always very friendly and polite.
Really enjoyed everything. Meat was tender and curry was good heat nan was great poppadoms were crisp all well cooked and piping hot also great value with free onion bajjis included my new favourite place for takeaway food
This place consistently delivers, the food tastes delightful and the customer service is exceptional. Love their food and the warm welcome when I walk in is always great. 110% would recommend to anyone who adores a curry which is cooked to perfection.
Excellent service, delivery times have been cut in half and sometimes I get my food earlier than expected. If you spend over a certain amount they usually chuck in Bombay potato or sag aloo. Won't go anywhere else for Indian takeaway. Recommended!
Authentic curry, I consider this the best in Bristol, and I have tried dozens, the curries here are better than expensive restaurants. Amazing taste and not oily like many curries. Flavor and spices are towards the strong end of the scale, so madras will likely be hotter than usual. The Chicken Malaya with pineapple is absolutely awesome!
Ignore the name, I really rate this place if you want a great Indian takeaway. They've got a really flexible meal for 2 which you can pretty much tailor to suit using the whole menu, which is extensive. Have been going regularly for the past 18 months or so and not had a bad meal yet. Really knowledgeable staff and they'll change the heat of a dish for you if required.

We’ve been using Curry Centre for takeaway food for a couple of years. We’ve experienced a couple of issues with missing dishes and late delivery but have stuck with them. Tonight has changed all that! My son was eating his chicken Balti when said he had bone. It turned out to be a piece of metal which looked like a staple. We phoned , mid meal, and they categorically stated that no metal could have possibly got into the food, other that from the box that was used to transport the food. They said they’re a small company and could ‘possibly’ offer a discount on a future order, but not got the full amount. All I wanted was an apology. All I got was denial, and complete abdication. We’ve been a customer for years, we do not expect to find metal in our food, goodness knows what the Covid hygiene is like. Disgusted.
