Better than we expected! Nachos and chicken fajitas were really good, the mac n cheese wasn't amazing but was fine. The portions are really generous, bordering on challenging! Car park needs it's potholes filling in really. Friendly and helpful staff
Was out with some friends walking nearby and went here for some lunch. Wasn't disappointed. I had baked potato with vegetables and brie. Others had roast beef; scampi and chips; bacon and brie baguette. We were all pleased with our food and portions were a good size; food tasty and served quickly. We were in the bar area. Would definitely go back. Would give 5 stars but the car park was horrendous and full of large holes needing filled. Would have been fine if I had a 4x4. Toilets so so.
Delicious food and great service. We had a delightful lunch. For starters we had the Chicken Goujons and the Garlic Mushrooms. Our main course i had the BBQ Chicken Melt with coleslaw, salad and chips, Lasagne, Steak Pie, Breaded Chicken Goujons, and Breaded Scampi. We had dessert Cheesecake and Toffee Pudding with ice cream.
Very helpful and happy staff. Massive portions. Reasonable price. This was spicy beef salad. Highly recommend
Amazing steak pie and an epic soup of the day, big portions and reasonable prices. The service is great. If you are near Culloden, definitely worth visiting!
Went for a family meal while visiting family , food we ordered was nice, no complaints, large portions , tasty and nice food, the Inn seemed a bit out of the way but was very busy and popular with loads of people ...Will call again when visiting family....Food: 5/5
We stopped here with Happy Tours on our Highland tour and the food was excellent. Service was polite, patient, and helpful. I got the steak pie and enjoyed every bite. The flaky pie crust was cooked to perfection and wasn’t soggy at all. The steak itself was cooked just right and the sauce was very tasty. My mother enjoyed the chicken goujans. I highly recommend stopping here if you are looking to grab a bite before or after heading over to the battlefield or Clava Cairns- it’s very close to both and has good food and great service. Thanks for the excellent meal!
Meals were ok 2 x scampi and 1 x steak pie, they seem to be relying on portion size to keep folk happy, stew lacked seasoning and puff baked separately , veg tasteless, the worst was being charged £2.30 for a price marked can of Diet Coke which was marked at 75p, no need for such greed. Would not rush back.
Large airy family dining space plenty of room between tables. Staff friendly. The menu was classic family dining, generous portions and well prepared. We will be visiting again. Parking: Plenty parking space. Though the lot is not well lit.
Food excellent, service efficient and friendly. Atmosphere was ok though most people were a little on the cool side. Otherwise a great experience.Food: 5/5
