When i enter, i so traditional scottish atmosphere. Curtains, carpets, chairs and walls was with tartan elements. Before my visit, i checked menu in Google but when i come it is was completely different. 80% meals was spicy with chilli and jalapeno. The Big question, how often the menu are change? I sad down opposite sunny window and i ordered Sweet potato fries, Baked vegetable lasagne served with small salad and Coffee latte. Coffee latte was medium too much milk and less coffee, i felt like i drinking just milk. Sweet potato fries was tasty. Vegetable lasagne was burned. I started try it and waitress come to me with question, do i like everything? I showed how much it is burned, so she got it back and i waited for new one. When i have got new one it is was the same burned but less. I started eat it. I have to say here, even though it was burnt again, the taste was excellent. I threw away the burnt and ate everything to the last drop. Nice scottish atmosphere, kind barmen and waitress but for food i can not give more then 3 stars. I like this place, i will back. SECOND VISIT. I was today second time and sadly i have to downgrade from 3 stars to 1 star. I ordered - Crispy coated halloumi fries, Onion rings and Cheddar mac & cheese served with garlic butter bread. In menu halloumi fries are served with garlic mayonnaise dip but i have got with hot chilli dip. I showed it is waiter and he change it. Second, it is price. For 5 not big halloumi fries and some of mayonnaise i have paid 4.79£! This is a robbery in broad daylight. And it is was not tasty. So for what this price? Onion rings was tasty but they was dirty. Onion rings was with small black pieces after frying pan and i sited and cleaned it. And last, simple pasta with cheese was the same burned. Was not tasty. Pot was too warm and waiter did not inform me about it. In conclusion, this may be a good place to relax with a glass of cold beer, but not for food.
Staff were not very friendly. There was a large group of us and they were more interested in serving the locals first.. It was ashame as the next time we have a reunion we won't be considering the pub, though we had plenty of good nights there in the past
Having had a previously bad experience beginning of 2022, we decided to give it another visit. I can say that I am completely blown away with the new management!!! The positive change in this place is amazing, quick service and great food. Keep up the great work
Nicer welcome from the labourers working on car park than the staff in the premises. Very poor standard of service from moment of entry to exit. Minimal interaction from staff. Absolute minimum taking of order to the point of having to ask for receipt, despite having been assured by what appeared to be a manager of some sort they would get staff member concerned to run off copy. No enquiry as to satisfaction of meal. No request of any extras, sweet, coffee or more drinks. Overall very dull, uninterested lackluster staff. I would strongly advise retraining courses for all. The food and value of I will say was the saving grace. Wheelchair accessibility: This was good.
While the food was ok, the service was not. After sitting at the table for 10 minutes, we were told we needed to order at the bar and pay before we even received our food. We were also told we needed to be out in an hour. 7 people, mind you. We are polite af because we've all worked in the restaurant business. Avoid this one.
Great place, food was brilliant. Had a quick lunch with my boyfriend before going out at night, tasty, filling and reasonably pricedFood: 5/5
We went there since it became one of the company’s spot when we visited Inverness. I heard that they have a selection of all meat and this has been confirmed to be true. The triple hunters is amazing with chess over the top and include chicken and bacon. The sharers are all good with chicken wings, chicken, onion mushrooms and garlic bread. Quite a typical pub in this local area. Tips: Parking space won’t be an issue since the next door store have some
Food was absolutely amazing, staff were lovely, friendly & willing to help with anything u possibly needed, would 100% recommend no doubtFood: 5/5
