Very tranquil and peaceful surround. Mindful of the purity and goodness of food. However, its a pity that CALAT students do not get a concessionary rates.
Interesting place ..a delight in Croydon...we need more places like this. Relaxing area... comfortable leather sofas.
Good choice of food and drink in comfortable and uncrowded surroundings. Possibility of booking tables for larger groups for meetings etc is a bonus.
Ok it is right in the center of Croydon so a good place to meet a bit pricey but then it's central Croydon so prices are hirer like box park prices near East Croydon with good bus links.
For something described as a "complex" I would expect some kind of plan layout. Also, Braithwaite Halls seem to be in the clocktower but not listed??
Unspoilt building in the old Croydon Town Hall complex. Best place for morning coffee around.
A nice place to visit, in this case, for a business meeting. Always good to see Marius behind the counter.
Great place to eat
Didn't expect much for a museum in a place like Croydon, but this was actually a really well organised and interesting series of exhibits, Just over an hour visiting this small free and interesting museum. Articles from different times of Croydon displayed in cabinets with push button
Lovely bright and light venue with nice decor, well layed out with good convivial lively atmosphere however let down by food. Chicken breast grilled with tomatoes garlic and butter meal woth cake included. Chicken was overcooked and very dry and chewy. Side salad was wilted and limp and chips were probably at their best an hour before ordered. The cake wasnt the delicious looking gateau displayed on the counter but a wafer thin squashed slice brought up from under the counter. Coffee was good. Overall disappointing, great venue let down by the cooking of what should have been a good menu.
