Good service, polite drivers!
Called for a taxi with a couple of hours notice and booked everything fine over the phone. After no sign of the taxi 15 minutes after the booked time I called in only to find my the line engaged multiple times. Eventually I got through to be told the taxi had been sitting outside my house for 7 minutes which was pretty impossible as I’d been waiting at the back door the whole time. The man informed me he had tracked the taxi on gps which quite clearly was a lie and told me he wouldn’t argue with me. To sum up, terrible service and even worse attitude of the staff. In future stick to Borderline taxis much better
Was late when it was booked day b4 we went out. car smelt of fish and chips driver was good but not happy with service as we've never a bad service before from crown we were late which is not good
Booked a Taxi using their app. It didn't turn up but said fair cancelled. When I rang the man said the app was rubbish and don't use it! Why have the app then? Terrible service!
i booked a taxi at 4:23 for 6:40 today so I booked it 2 hours earlier and when it came to point of my taxi coming it was 6:45 and it still wasn't here and my boyfriend also had a train at 7:05 that he couldn't miss at cramlington station and when I rang up crown asking where my taxi was she said that it wouldn't be here for another 5 to 10 mins so I had to cancel it and had to get a another taxi from a different line and ended up missing the train. I am very angry because I pre-booked the taxi so we wouldn't be late. I will not be using crown ever again
Booked a taxi for 2:30am, taxi didn't turn up, couldn't get through to crown taxis at all for over 30 minutes of calling, no text or call to say if the car had even arrived at all. Ended up booking an uber which arrived within 5 minutes at less cost than crown, no brainer.
Used these for years. Always great.couple weeks ago had a very impatient driver who wasn't happy to wait till I paid a restaurant bill. I complaint. Since, I seem to find that it's a LONG time till they have a car available. Strange or what !!!!!
