Stopped on the way back home from travelling! Cute pub in a quiet village! Love the bedroom and amazing bathroom! I have to say I judge places on the bath and the bed! They were both brilliant! Just what I needed after 3 weeks with only showers! Good linen and very clean! Highly recommended! Didn’t eat in the pub as due to staff shortages in hospitality they have to shut some evenings. Will come back to explore when not jet lagged! Stopped in the great tew room x
Lovely. The food was excellent, the service was fast and professional, the décor was traditional in the pub area and modern in the conservatory. The side of butternut squash was so good! Parking in a bit of a pain, but don't let that put you off. Lovely place and excellent all over. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Tried out this quaint pub whilst staying at Heythrop Park up the road, as we fancied a walk and a light lunch. Reasonable selection of beers and food was excellent. We had open sandwiches, cheese & onion and smoked salmon, both really good. Has a garden area which should be great in the summer. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.Service: 5/5
We LOVED staying here, we simply can't fault the hotel or staff at all. Everyone was so friendly!! The food is next level exceptional, the chorizo fritters with the pear alioli were incredible and the avocado on sourdough with added bacon and sausage was just out of this world in my top breakfasts ever!! We will 100000% be coming back as much as possible, a home away from home. Thank you all.
A beautiful and quintessential pub set in the countryside. Late to review as my partner and I stayed back in February but it was important to let the staff and manager know that we were so happy with our stay at The Crown Inn despite the hiccup with our booking. I wont go into detail but I just want to say thank you to Matt, the manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and our parents and thanks to him we had the best birthday & stay and would definitely come back! The rooms were immaculate we stayed in The Heythrop room - gorgeous furnishings, comfy beds, and a beautiful roll top bath that was just a dream!

Sunday lunch here is a thing of beauty, wonderful friendly service coupled with truly excellent food made for a fabulous Sunday out! I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend The Crown....you won't be disappointed.Service: 5/5

Really enjoyed our evening meal at the Crown. The food and drink was delicious . Enjoyed the relaxed comfortable pub surroundings. Our high praise to Bruno for his positive energy and attentiveness managing both the bar and tables with great efficiency .
