The one thing I love the most about Victoria Park is the different events that happen at the Park most weekends. Today, we caught a Hockey Cup final and some other time, it's a music festival. Victoria Park is a pretty large mostly quiet park in the heart of downtown London, ON. It's characterised by a large black gate and a couple of nice sculptures on the Park. It's very lovely especially during Summer. Although our evening at the Park was disrupted by Bees, but we still had a good time walking in the Park. Parking was not really an issue at the Park as we found a place to park easily. Due to the nature of downtown, I won't advise anyone being at the Park till late but it's definitely a good experience to enjoy the Sun. I heard the Park is even more beautiful during Winter, looking forward to it. Ambience Location
Visit every year for Sunfest Festival Highly recommend visiting the first weekend in July every year. It's like traveling in a park, listening, dancing, and watching the best music from around the world.
It is a really beautiful park, especially in the fall.
Beautiful Park. Went there last week.. it was very quiet for Saturday. There were quite some ducks around so if you are not a duck person, may need to avoid it. However they may not be around. It's fairly clean as well. Great spot for laying down on the grass.
A nice park with many major events throughout the year. Great place to chill and take a rest.
Went during the winter. Definitely smaller in area than I expected but right in the center of the city. I can imagine it being a fun place to hangout during summers. For winter, there is a skating rink as well as cute Christmas decorations. Also nice little monuments around the park.
It’s very nice refreshing place. I love it to stay here 3-4 hours a day.
Victoria Park in London, Ontario, is an absolute gem! This beautiful park is a perfect blend of natural beauty and community spirit. The well-maintained lawns, vibrant flower beds, and shady trees make it an ideal spot for a relaxing day out. There's always something happening here, from festivals and concerts to outdoor yoga and family picnics. The playground is fantastic for kids, and the splash pad is a hit in the summer. Whether you're going for a jog, having a picnic, or just taking a leisurely stroll, Victoria Park offers a serene and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend visiting this lovely park!
Victoria Park is a must visit place in the city of London. Weekends in the summer here are the best. We went during ribfest and had a fun time checking out all the vendor tents, then enjoying a great meal. They had bands playing and the food was incredible! There's a skating rink in the winter and plenty of room to walk and enjoy the outdoors.
Large green space in the middle of the city with some benches and picnic tables and a few cool things to see. Not much to write home about imo. It attracts some nefarious characters in the dark hours - I have a friend who got jumped there once. Visiting during daylight hours seems fine and it hosts a number of events in the summertime.
