Been getting threatening letters and being bullied by staff. Now they are threatening to stop me from getting my inhalers, and also to be kick out of the practice. They have taken off the repeat prescription so I have to go in and order them myself. Now when I do get them I only get one instead of the usual 2. All of this because I won't take time off work to go and see the asthma nurse, so she can see if I use my inhaler correctly. 40 years and more using inhalers, I know how to use them. Maybe if they spent time just dealing with the people who need help and not waste time on people who don't.
I recently moved to this surgery and Alison menopause doctor was absolutely amazing. I have been fighting with doctors for over a year for help, seen Alison once and she has already had me referred for further help. For once a doctor that listens to you and wants to help you. I can’t thank you enough!
Worst GP Practice I’ve ever had to deal with. We were recently patients at Millhill Surgery in Dunfermline but due to moving house, had to move to Crossgates Medical Practice. The service is so poor compared to Millhill who were brilliant.nnThere are only a couple of pleasant receptionist staff, one in particular has a vile attitude. Such a bad set up for prescriptions thankfully the chemist staff are lovely. We’ve had a total nightmare with them trying to get our medical records from previous surgery. I needed a letter from GP to confirm a condition I have and had to chase this up multiple times - they then had the cheek to charge £20 for it. I’ve yet to attempt to make an appointment but based on everything I’ve read and the interactions I’ve had with them, I am dreading it! You have to go with the online form service like other practices have. This whole phoning up at 8am, having to ring 100 times is just a joke.nnSeriously considering changing doctors surgery.
Staff always pleasant and helpful.nGood set up with appointment system as some doctors elsewhere you can’t get appointment for weeks!
I called over 100 times to try and get through to someone to only then be told it was too late and I couldn't get an appointment or a call back that day and would have to try again tomorrow, then had the phone put down on me.nTried calling to make an appointment for my 1 year older daughter and missed the call back due to not being allowed my phone on me at my work and they said as I didn't answer the phone I must not have wanted to talk to them anymor, when I tried to call them back the surgery was then closed.nThe service they are providing is absolutely shocking.
