I would give a zero but unfortunately it won’t let me. Worst practice I have ever used. Receptionists tells lies Gill, to cover her own back. Requested an appointment for the afternoon as I work Monday - Friday until 12pm, then offered an appointment for 9.50am, explained again that I work mornings then was given appointment with a trainee doctor, who apparently has been training for seven years with his eyes closed who don’t know much. I emailed Helen practice manager and informed her what happened and why I was leaving and she emailed back would’ve preferred a call or a meeting stating that she asked the receptionist about my making an appointment, she was told by Gill that I was given an appointment in the evening, had refused it and asked for an appointment in the morning!!! Now why would I do that when I don’t finish work until 12pm??? As a doctors surgery they must have a duty of care towards their patients utter joke. Displaying on the window ‘Always accepting new patients’ when they can’t look after the ones they’ve already got!!! Helen is a really nice lady but she should put her professionalism to use when dealing with receptionists who obviously don’t tell her the truth. I thought that all calls were monitored and recorded for training purposes but not here. I won’t be made out to be telling lies, that’s not how I was brought up. Nurses are brilliant and understanding and are wasted here. Best thing about this place is when it’s closed. Have left now but please think seriously about joining here.
The best GP practice I've ever had. Never disappointed. Treated with care and understanding. I truly don't understand some bad opinions. My family definitely recommend it!
I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided by Croft Surgery regarding the management of my repeat prescriptions. As a diabetic patient, timely access to medication is critical to maintaining my health. Unfortunately, the surgery has repeatedly failed to process my prescriptions on time, causing unnecessary stress and potential health risks.nnEach time I request a repeat prescription, I find myself waiting far beyond the expected time frame. Despite multiple follow-ups, the response remains inadequate, showing a clear lack of consideration for the urgency of my situation. This consistent delay is not just an inconvenience; it is a serious lapse in patient care.nnI strongly urge Croft Surgery to address these issues immediately. Proper management of repeat prescriptions is not just about efficiency; it is about ensuring the health and safety of patients who rely on their medication to manage chronic conditions. Until improvements are made, I cannot in good conscience recommend this practice to others.
Beyond moronic, will do and say anything to prevent people from getting their medication. I have had more than 5 GP surgeries in my life and never have I had one that’s so allergic to doing their jobs correctly.
Been registered at Croft Surgery for a long time. The reception team are always happy to help. Seen a few GPs over the years who have always sorted my problems out. i like you dont always need to go in, had a video call recently saved me a journey.
