We visited the delightful Crimple Hall Nursery recently with friends and decided to stay for lunch as "The Barrows" restaurant looked so welcoming. We were not disappointed. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff who looked after us really well. The food was excellent, the choice being varied and prices very reasonable for the high standard of ingredients and presentation on offer. The Coffee afterwards was of particularly good standard and well presented. We were so pleased we have booked to return for one of their upcoming tribute nights!

Really interesting quirky antiques market followed by refreshing drinks menu and a good choice of attractive cakes. Good venue for families with lots of activities foe young children. Good range of plants too so something for everyone.

Nice ambiance, food was perfectly acceptable for the price. The servers were nice but kept bring the food at different times. As a family we like to eat together not in a relay. Service generally slow and it wasn't busy.
