Stopped here for lunch, had the ploughmans baguette all i got was big chunks of cheese and thin slices of apple in a baguette??? A very small salad if you could call half a small tomato, 1 slice of cucumber and a couple leaves a salad and I think onion pickle in a dish.😐 very disappointed. Quite a few people came in and left without ordering as they were waiting for service which Is VERY slow.

Wow what a transformation I loved the new look especially the sofa very welcoming the staff friendly as always treat people with respect they reciprocate I had a lovely ciabatta sandwich and pot of tea asked for hot water no problem the decor is work in progress and the lovely lady who was at the till was brilliant with customers it is nice to have table service when you are laden with shopping I noted the new menus by the door and people looked at them and turned away maybe the welcome they receive without looking at menu wiĺ bring them just a thought not a critasim and look forward to seeing it completed

Ordered a toasted sweet chilli chicken sandwich. Expected it to be actual chicken breast cut up and put in between two slices of toast. That’s not what I got. I got a couple of slices of pre packed chicken heated up in a microwave in between dry toast. It was awful. Never again!

Food was nice and women were courteous and delightful. Chris however, what a waste of space. Hardly spoke or smiled. Basically mumbled. Kept disappearing to the kitchen then coming out eating. When we mentioned we hadn’t received our chips (second time we asked for them) he bought them out and just plopped them on the table. Not a word was said.
