Had a lovely stay with my husband and son, very welcoming and friendly owners. Beautiful, clean rooms with a lovely breakfast in the morning. Only thing we recommend is that with breakfast they use the local produce especially for the sausages will definitely be back to visit and stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality
We found this pub while travelling through the area and were made to feel really welcome by the landlord. He and the landlady went above and beyond for us and provided good beer, good food and a great chat. We'd highly recommend a visit.
Lived in Winchester for many years now and have frequented The Cricketers for all that time. Donna, Bertie and Coco are the best landlords The Cricketers has ever had. Wonderfully warm and welcoming, finally some great beers on tap yay Bombardier and fantastic pub grub. They also do Pizza Takeaway, proper stone-baked pizzas. What more could you want from a great pub?
Still a traditional pub with a welcome as warm as it's log fire. Let's support these places and keep them open.

Stayed overnight at this lovely pub in the heart of a quintessential English village. The landlord and lady were very welcoming after the tiring journey. The room was very comfortable and food was tasty. Would recommend this place especially if travelling to Southampton for a cruise.
This is very much a local pub, everyone seemed to know each other. The staff were rushed off their feet but remained friendly and helpful. The pizzas were great, proper Italian style with quality toppings. The village is nice with walks in the area
Went there today 6/9/22 really nice pub, but what made it for us was the landlord, absolutely lovely guy, prices for food is very reasonable and the beer was great also have a beautiful dog whose name is Co Co.
Lovely, friendly down to earth Village pub. I am sure it has changed over the years and many people have moved into the village from London. The landlord and landlady are lovely and so down to Earth. I love it that it has not become a boutique style pub as so many are going that way.
Stayed at the cricketers last night lovely pub very friendly great beer and lovely breakfast 10/10 will definitely be going back
