Liked the food a lot the first time. Hence, went back for 2nd time for graduation dinner. The food was still delicious. But, we had to wait for 1 hour to get food. We were also served sweet potato fries instead of plantain fries with our main dishes - even though the menu said plantain fries. But, the service was friendly although we had to try a lot hard to get their attention, and definitely overall, the food was delicious! We will try again on a less busy night.
We were booked in at 6pm and were first to arrive but the restaurant soon filled up. Great atmosphere and the service was friendly and efficient. I absolutely loved my dish photo, my daughter found the ribs a bit spicy, husband and son both enjoyed their food. Highly recommend.
Stopped by for lunch today, hands down the best goat curry I’ve had in the uk, and I’ve had a few. If you are looking for authentic Caribbean food you must try these guys. Superb and worth the two hour drive, we will be back !
I visited Cribbs for dinner on a short trip to Falmouth. My friend and I like Caribbean food and the menu looked interesting... and we were so pleased we chose Cribbs amongst the many options in town! The atmosphere is great and relaxed, the service superb and the food and drinks amazing. We shared a scallop starter - delicious - followed by Monkfish & Scallops for my friend and a Goat Curry for me. Both were delicious and the Monkfish beautifully presented. I'd probably have preferred the curry a little less hot, but otherwise excellent. Their Rum Ting Swizzle cocktail was excellent too: good to start your meal with. Most definitely a recommended restaurant.
Great food. I had ackee and saltfish. No photo as I was too hungry to delay. Cocktails are decent. I had two and felt it. Family members about 10 from London visited 2 weeks ago and they all loved their food and have promised to return.
We had dinner at this restaurant during a day trip to Falmouth. Food was excellent. I had the snapper and my husband had jerked chicken. We would definitely visit again when in the area. The staff was friendly and music was also nice!
We didn't make a reservation but luckily we got a table because later that evening the place is buzzing with customers! Nice vibe and relaxing music. Friendly staff. And most importantly, amazing food!! We ordered a potato wedge for starter - oooo so fresh and crispy and the dip is like nothing I've ever had. For main we ordered a pineapple and coconut janga and a rice with ackee and fish. The janga is 100/100, good portion, generous amount of seafood in there, don't be put off by the pineapple it adds sweetness and freshness to the seafood! The fish and ackee is equally amazing, never had ackee before so we asked a member of waiting staff which part of it is ackee - he was so friendly and knowledgable about the food, it was as if he cooked it. Price is reasonable considering the amount of seafood there were also compared to what we'd have for the same price in London. 100/100 recommend and would go again. Don't forget to book a table first to avoid disappointment! :
We are locals & can’t believe we haven’t tried this restaurant before, but we went for our wedding anniversary & we’re very happy we did. The food was amazing, the staff were great & even the cocktails were really good. We both had the bucket of treats to start & then the monkfish & scallops… I’m drooling just thinking about it, it was all so tasty
Very good staff, clean and modern food, rich and diverse buffet breakfast. The place is close to the city center and is easily reached within walking distance. The only disadvantage is the cool temperature of the place. They should work more on it
Very pleasant dog friendly Jamaican restaurant with some interesting dishes. We had the guac on toast toast, spread with guacamole, tomatoes and garlic mushrooms but be warned it's quite filling with two large slices of toast, it's also delicious! Thinking the guacamole was a starter portion because of the low price we also ordered some Juicy Lucy brisket, this is slow cooked smoked brisket with melted cheese in a sandwich with chips and salad, l thought it was tasty but my partner was less impressed. It mostly lost a star when they delivered the second dish before we had finished the first. Would happily go back and try something else
