We had an impromptu evening meal on a Sunday as we were passing through Hayle and weren't disappointed. The roast was possibly the best we've had and the meat certainly was. Good service. Fab selection of gin too if you're into that... Very pleasant pub and would recommend without hesitation.

We had looked at this pub on-line before driving down to Hayle from Essex, in the hope of booking it for my father in-law's birthday just after Christmas, and it looked perfect - great beers and a good looking menu too! Once we arrived at the in-law's, we unpacked and popped into Hayle to check it out - and to try the beer! It looks lovely from the outside, but once you get inside it's even better - much larger than you think it's going to be and very nicely decorated with beams and lots of wood on show. The selection of beers is great - I had a local Christmas brew and was glad I chose it. The recent fad for gin is well supported as well as the usual suspects, spirit wise. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our booking as I was full of man flu and couldn't make the trip. Maybe next time! Highly recommended for the beer alone!

On our arrival at The Cornish Arms Hayle we were met by a friendly & welcoming team behind the bar who took our drinks order and then we were shown to our table for Sunday lunch. We found the staff to be very attentive at all times. Our Sunday lunch's arrived to which the presentation was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. One would have no hesitation in recommending The Cornish Arms Hayle to anybody. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well.

A St Austell house that sells the best pint of Mena Dhu I've tasted. Also amazing food, the scotch egg is really something special.

Lovely warm welcoming feeling in the building ,love the outside seated area too. The food is good ,service good as well. Highly recommend this place,dogs also welcome.
