It was an okay holiday, we where pre warned before we went to take wellies as the ground was very soft and muddy. Entertainment was okay but the area was a little small you need to get there early to stand a chance of seating. The pool and facilities where on the small side but more than acceptable. Surrounding area are nice and the beach is huge. Overall a very good holiday especially if your on a budget.

Caravan was hired privately so this review is about the park and facilities, The Entertainment building needed a pass but it was not checked to enter the building, once bingo is finished its all kids entertainment it would be nice something in between, the building was small hardly anything to do but go on the arcades which they get alot of money from you so the entertainment passes are worthless, during the day time if the go something for the kids you generally have to pay more again entertainment passes worthless. the pool was HOT and once i left to get myself and the kids ready i almost passed out, it was far to hot and the air was very hot also, i live next to a swimming baths so i go every week or so, The shop was far to small and had little food, one my first day i asked for oven chips but they said we MAY get some in a week... with little to no food you have to eat at the restaurant which is far to over priced, for 2 adult meals and 3 kids would cost £34+ and the quality was very poor, the shop said the pizza's they get in (£1) are bought by the restaurant and sold for £10 or more, as no town in walking distance i would say make sure you have a car. So bad food small/tiny shop little to no entertainment overpriced everything but not worth it Pool was far to hot and a H&S issue one park but for ages 5 years+ feel free to come if you own a car and will spend little time in the park, if not i would say go to haggerston castle which costs more (everything is more money but its far better) but its well worth it

Holiday Park was very muddy & wellies were needed to access the caravan but this was not a big issue and we was made aware of the before arrival. Pool was great and the kids enjoyed doing some kayaking. Didn’t have a great experience in the restaurant . Breakfast we had bacon and pancakes, the back was mostly fat and we had to wait a while for it too. The day after we ordered some waffles & ice cream had to ask where they were 3 times and it had taken 50mins until we finally had them. After complaints the manager gave a refund and apologised for the long delays due to being short on staff and that he had new staff. Due the these two experiences we chose not to eat in there again. The site is in a well situated location minutes walk from the beach which was very nice. I would probably consider a return but avoid eating in the Tavern restaurant.
