Luxury Cottage, Wild Glamping and Comfortable Camping on a Northumberland farm by the sea, also home to the Ambling Alpacas who trek with our visitors.

Story

As well as our dog-friendly cosy cottage we offer summer camping on our working farm minutes walk away from a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach.

Our beautiful bell tents are fully furnished and complimented by sustainable facilities or you can camp in your own tent in the dunes. We are based on the Northumbrian Coast, near the villages of Widdrington and Cresswell, and an ideal base for exploring our region.

We also offer alpaca walks around the farm for guests and day visitors, with easy walking routes and friendly animals this is suitable for all ages.

Great food, great price, great staff, excellent location and very dog friendly, in fact so dog friendly it was like a vets waiting room and I was half tempted to throw a sausage onto the floor for the comedy calamity but they were so nice I ate them all up instead!!

Fantastic place spent the night here for supper club and stargazing event. Lovely food and a cracking venue great for a cold November night!

Glamping - I’ll start on the positive side, the location was brilliant and the place wasn’t cluttered. The tepee style tents were nice and clean and so was the cutlery and utensils provided. 

The shower facility was a little shed and the hot water was hit and miss. I wasn’t impressed as we had kids and we were expecting something a little better/easier to deal with them in as it was right next to the road. 

It would have been nice to have a power outlet by the tents also. 

The café/shop was never really open. 

As this was supposed to be glamping I would have expected more convenience compared to other sites. 

Pop up camp site and some great little touches on a while I would recommend but be aware of the shortfalls.

Fabulous place and the owner is so friendly and welcoming. I went on my own and it felt so peaceful and restful. Will be visiting again. Thank you Caroline

Great basic campsite with fabulous views across sand dunes and sea. Access to walk onto fab beach.
