A very well kept caravan park and a nice place to relax.very nice pint at the clubhouse and a nice park for the children if you have little ones and a football pitch.owners are friendly and happy to help.great location 5 mins from beach and 5 minute walk to shop.also this site has a cafe.and does a great Sunday dinner.nice place for walking my dog and a lovely views of the lake.
2nd time up to visit a friend.. the place has bin getting some upgrade in play park. All new play stuff for the kids.. pop in have a game ov pool and couple drinks. Was a ok night.
Great place to be for peace and quiet from busy town
Used the Duck Pond cafe, Sarah & Billy we're lovely & friendly. Had the roast lunches & we're gorgeous highly recommend you try.
Its pretty cool theres a family entertainment lounge and a club but i dont reccomend ellington for kids under 4 years because all the fun stuff is for bigger kids like high parks
Very friendly family run site
Nice place to buy a static caravan. Can also pitch tourers, but there's a waiting list. Quite central to a lot of places in Northumberland.
Great place for people of any ages!
Do not site your caravan tourer here. My parents had there caravan stolen from here during lock down only finding out when the owner phoned them to see if they had moved it. They paid over £1200 site fees with storage for the owner to basically say "it's not my problem". They are only after the money and if something happens to your caravan they could not care less. Thankfully they managed to find it through a fb post asking for help finding it and found it damaged and ransacked. So do not site your caravan here if you are expecting it to be looked after when your not there because it won't be and you will not find any help from the owner after you've paid them the money.
I enjoyed my day there with my son and his family, the caravan site has some strict rules that didn't cramp the children's fun. Not mine for that matter. Highly recommended.
