Loved every minute of our stay. Room was large and comfortable. Staff all so helpful especially the lovely lady on reception.nFood was average . We had an allowance of 30 each for dinner but still had to pay a service change on top of that which we weren't expecting. Breakfast ok. Food and plates weren't hot. No coffee machine. However will be back again as the break was wonderful.
Stayed here at the weekend. The room was absolutely amazing, probably the best room I’ve ever stayed in Junior Suite Room 5. Very dusty behind the TV’s thou.nWith staying in a premium room, biscuits and bottles of water would of been nice. Hotel was lovely and & its setting was amazing. Nice and Quiet, 10nMins from Chester City centre, so spot on, and 15/20 from Cheshire Oaks.nStaff decent on whole.nOnly 2 negatives … firstly drinks in the bar so £££ which is very disappointing, £10nFor a shandy and pint of cordial!!!nnThe breakfast was nothing more than basic at best.nNo coffee machine, no table service from staff for tea & toast and the breakfast- well let’s just say you could experience better in McDonald- it didn’t match the Quality of the Hotel.nnI would 100% stay here again for sure … but not have breakfast next time.nnMy partner also had a spa, which shenLoved and Leisure facilities were superb.nnThe Male Changing Rooms need a serious upgrade, tired & not very clean to be honest, doesn’t match the reception area of the Spa.nnOrdered Robes and slippers - never received slippers
Lovely hotel, except from the service at reception as the lady on the desk wasn’t very inviting when we first arrived! The rooms we stayed in were very spacious and the amenities were ok, the kettle needs to be descaled, we did not use this due to the scaling all on the inside of the kettle. The bathroom had shampoo and conditioner attached to the wall, however they wasn’t refilled so we could use them even if we wanted to. Luckily I brought my own to use. The overall cleanliness of the room was good. Just a few odd bits that need doing, like the kettle and there was cobwebs and a few bugs around the windows.nThe food was lovely and they did have gluten free options, which I was happy about.nnA special thanks to Lucy who works in the spa, she was lovely and my treatments were perfect. Thank you to all the other staff members in the spa too, it was a great and relaxing experience and will definitely be booking in the spa again.
Visited recently and had a great time. The room was clean and the bathroom was massive with a bath and separate overhead shower.nnSpa facilities are good and we enjoyed just lounging by the pool.nnSome parts of the furniture throughout the hotel could do with being painted but I presume that's down to best western and not really a fault of the hotel itself.nnThe only small issue I had was during my stay there was a school leavers party, so room service was unavailable but takeway was still available. No issue there.nHowever when I ordered at the bar I was still charged £5 room service..nnAlso 10% service charge was added to the bill but I asked for It to be removed as I didn't have any service.nnAlso the bar could do with a price list for all drinks the a4 list to the side of the bar is pretty much unreadable.nnAll in all a very good stay and would definedly return.
Room was lovely, grounds were nice. However, the spa needs some work. Plastic bits broken all round the jacuzzi, can’t really relax! Doors hanging off the lockers, and breakfast wasn’t great.
