Ashok is one of the nicest people I’ve met. My wife and I were buying sofas for our new home and Ashok made this experience incredibly memorable and special for our first home. We bought some stunning bespoke sofas which was a pleasure to order and Ashok talked us through all the details and great length. He helped us to measure and advised us on what would work for our living room. No other place offers service like this and I would buy from Ashok for years to come and would recommend him to anyone. Can’t wait to receive our sofas and hope to have you round for a cup of tea one day Ashok. Thank you so much for this this incredible experience.
The advice and service received during our purchase has been first class. Initially, we saw a recliner sofa online during the sale but was unable to get to the showroom until after the sale. However, having spoken to Kim she agreed to ensure that the best price would be available when we visited. During our visit Kim provided us with great advice and exceptional service even providing water for our dog and we eventually purchased recliner sofas that met our needs. I am confident that this level of service will continue throughout the build and delivery stages and we are looking forward to enjoying our sofas in due course. A well deserved 5 star rating.
We normally drive straight past cousins for some reason not really sure why to be honest and tend to lean towards the retail park kind of stores but decided to turn around and pop in whilst heading to buy new sofas. Had a walk about , it’s pretty big , was then greeted by Kim, the floor manager I believe, what a great sales person, not pushy one bit but hugely knowledgeable, answering every question we had, gave us time, provided options and to be honest the Sofas we she took us to looked real quality…. We ditched going to other stores and ordered our new Sofas. People buy from people I believe and Kim was the reason we didn’t head elsewhere, she met our needs to the letter…. Very very nice person and huge asset to your business, keep hold of her I would suggest!
I purchased a luxury sofa, and when i got the delivery i had two different coloured sofas. They replaced it to the original colour we wanted after waiting weeks.. so the sofa come finally but this time round the the colours right but the wooden feet are different colour more orangy but should be a darker colour like the last colours. Kind of disappointing after all the wait
Cousins furniture has always been a favourite of mine. Over the years we have brought numerous pieces of furniture/pictures / fitted wardrobes and other household items from both the Tyseley and the Dudley stores. They have a huge range of stock and big reductions during sales events. Today we were again attended to by Lee Adams. Lee is a fantastic sales colleague who goes the extra mile to ensure a customer has a great experience during their time in store. Lee takes the time to try and find any items that may suit what the customers have described, or envisioned in their mind. In the past we have been attended to by almost all the sales team at Tyseley including Malcolm the supervisor who spent a long time with us upstairs mixing and pulling chairs from other displays to find the perfect dining table and chair combo. I have to say all the staff at cousins are exemplary in the way they assist customers. Here you get a friendly professional service and I've always felt valued as a customer... even when we go to pay, where the ladies behind the scenes on the payment desks Pauline and Jane are always bubbly and cheerful as they sort through all the paperwork & get the payments processed. I love this store for its unique and stylish items, I find the prices of the stock quite reasonable when you look at the quality of the items photos are of some of the items I have purchase over time from cousins in Tyseley. I like to check in regularly just to see what deals are to be had on discontinued items. As the stock changes frequently there are usually a lot of items you can load in the car and take with you or arrange for immediate delivery. A big thanks to all the staff at Tyseley and I whole heartedly recommend this store to anyone looking for inspiration or quality furniture.
Bought a dining table and chairs in October 23. They arrived in Dec 23 with 4 chairs different out of 6. My 16 year old son was the first to sit on them. The legs gave way and he fell to the ground. The chairs were manufactured with really poor material. It took cousins 3 months to replace the chairs after threatening them to take their dining table away for a full refund. The customer service was really poor and will not be purchasing anything from cousins ever again.
Pat was an amazing sales person very informative and patient with lovely people skills we only came in to get a bed frame went home with full kitted bed and dining table and 6 chairs defo looked after us his a credit to cousins
Initially I would have rated this place a 2 as we found the sofa we wanted but the staff member was clueless and almost made us leave the sofa behind! We came back and spoke with Kim who managed to sort our questions out really quickly and we paid there and then for it. Lesson being get the right person and you will have excellent service. Would have been 5 stars had we got Kim 1st time! Good showroom and lots of choice.
From the time we walked into the showroom for a browse and ended up buying an Italian leather suite to the delivery today the service has been exceptional. Staff were knowledgeable, helpful and caring and the delivery guys as I missed their call waited and took extreme care in getting the suite into the house and setting it up. First delivery people Ive had for a while that instantly took off their shoes. We have always brought our suites from Cousins partly because of the excellent quality, prices are affordable and the service has always been excellent. Sadly I was unable to complete the survey as my security has blocked it but I can only thank all the staff involved in this purchase.
Worse delivery experience ever. Bought a brand new bed and had to wait months for it as it was being made from new. The draw and headboard arrived damaged and used with soil on it. They sent a replacement which also took several weeks because apparently these needed inspecting to ensure it is new as agreed. The new headboard and draw ALSO damaged! Absolute headache! £800 bed! Rip off. I just want to send the whole thing back now for a refund. Its too much headache. Could probably buy a £500 one from Levines without any of the headache.
