We visited here on a very quiet weekday which was nice.The staff were friendly but the service was slow as there was only 1person serving drinks and trying to take food orders at the same time.But that said the pub is in a good location and at night you get a nice view of the tower all illuminated.
Good atmos, music mainly good with the odd dodgy one thrown in now and again, DJ was funny sometimes although seemed to think he was more of a comedian than a DJ. Good range of drinks and everyone friendly. Plastic cups annoying but understandable given the clientele. Would recommend for a drink that doesn't cost stupid prices like other Blackpool pubs n clubs and a good vibe.
Great find on our recent holiday. Lovely building full of original characteristics. Fantastic menu choices. The senior menu is a real bonus and plenty of choice. 2x 3 course meals and 2x drinks for under £20 is great for keeping the cost down when on holiday for a week. Highly recommend a visit here during the day before the evening drinkers come in or when sport is on.
Super dog friendly! Our two are pretty well behaved in general, and not once was there any issue, or were they seen as in the way; the two guys serving us food walked around the dogs rather than them be a problem, bowls of water happily supplied and best of all there is a doggy menu for them to choose from - ours had chicken breast and shared chips, they rate it's a Five out of Five Paw Established!! Additionally, they have a good selection for Vegetarians, and it's often difficult enough to find veggie friendly pubs/restaurants..... Would happily return for an afternoon/evening meal.
Nice bar, friendly staff, not expensive but the pudding was very dry, gravy thick and lumpy, and small portions of chips and peas
Great pub. I lost my wallet in there last night. I called them this morning and was greeted by such a friendly staff member. He was very professional and confirmed my wallet was there and found. He was extremely helpful and agreed to post my wallet to me as I live out of town, sum 2 hours away. Many thanks. Or, and the pub is mint. Mixture of all adult ages at night and great music. was in there most of the evening.
Great located pub, a regular when on holiday in Blackpool. My son loves the apple pie desert which he says is the best in Blackpool. Good selection of beers at decent prices with fantastic customer service from friendly helpful staff. Well done
Found this place after looking for a dog friendly pub food place etc. Staff are great with dogs and so helpful. 2 meals for £10.99 highly recommend the gammon! Good pint to! So again staff amazing 2 lads behind the bar and Jane who brought water for the dogs. Highly recommend this place and now will go everytime we come to Blackpool
Bit rowdy but it was Friday night, food was amazing. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for a bite to eat which tastes great and doesn't cost a fortune
The pub was good and the staff was friendly. The food was also very good but there was a long wait for food and the pub wasn't busy so I didn't get that issue very poor. Also it was unfortunate that they had no lager on tap other than carlsberg which was very disappointing.
