Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a wide range of products from a wide range of manufacturers. I like the price promise. It worked for me one time when I found on Amazon the identical product for £10 less - they gave it to me for the Amazon price with no trace of ill will. Nice one.

I visited this Cotswold Outdoor branch a few times now, and always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They always seem to do all they can to help and make you feel comfortable, and while prices aren't always the lowest, they do price-match and offer a number of discount schemes for members of different clubs. The range of clothing and gear is reasonably vast, and if in doubt most often the staff on duty have first-hand experience and can answer most questions. Recommended.

Good staff. This Cotswold is one of their more fashion oriented stores in my opinion, as opposed to having higher end kit. However still a good selection as do have some mountaineering stuff. It's pretty large too

The only reason they get 1 star is the second time we went the girl that served us tried to help. Problem is none of the staff have any idea what they're selling or talking about, asked which boots were waterproof "Good question" was the answer as she scanned the labels! First time we went the service was appalling, the girl was actually rude. Staff need better training.....or at least some training! Don't bother.
