Just spent over an hour with a lovely chap (bearded with a woolly hat and glasses) helping me out and giving me walking boot advise. He was great, knew his stuff and gave me some tips. Sadly I didn't have the money in my account to get the ones we decided on just yet, but wanted to share my top notch experience with a member of the Cotswold staff! I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in the future! He also told us we'd get 15% discount on full price items with our national trust membership!! I am very very grateful for his help and I will have very happy feet when I eventually go on my long distance walk.

The level of service they provide is above expectations. Stuff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to buy anything for outdoors activity

Very disappointed as following a visit to there web site I expected at least a couple of hiking poles to look at but none were on view. Strange a company that likes to be the leader in outdoor activites does not stock walking poles. At least Mountain Warehouse accepted my cash

Really helpful, knowledgeable staff. Very patient- on one occasion I spent hours trying on boots, with careful attention and guidance at all times from the manager.
