Fabulous food, cold beer, fantastic service...highly recommended. Great conversing with the staff when they had a chance. Busy place, so great for eat in or take away. Loved our experience.
Dhaal , paneer , peshwari naan and mushroom fried rice were really nice but the lamb balti curry was average , however, from the photo, it may not look like it but there was a lot of meat which I was happy about.
I’ve been coming to The Coriander for a long time. I love it. It’s one of my favorites. The food is great, the service is great and you leave totally satisfied. The chicken tikka masala and the Tandoori mixed grill are my favorites.
If you want to taste authentic Indian food , I would definitely recommend here. The onion bhajjis were really good. Herabhara kabab and samosa were not that good but ok. The chutneys given were good. The tandoori rotis were good. The subz kofta was good too. The delivery was on time with good packaging. The prices are moderate.
We were absolutely famished. Due to a late lunch and a concert nearby we landed here 35 minutes before closing time. Within moments they served the best Indian food we ever had. Highly recommended, also when you actually have the time to go out dining! :-
I feel bad writing this, as our previous visit to Coriander was positive. Yesterday, though, we had a bizarre interaction with the manager that should never happen with a customer and ruined our experience. I'm sure they were stressed for other reasons, but it was very unprofessional and completely unnecessary. The food is fine and the buffet is good value. Even so, I won't be going back again.
Ordered chicken tikka masala, bombay potatoes and pilau rice. The food was horrible and did not look authentic. Tikka Masala not red and not enough meat in it. More sauce than anything. Rice was brown resembling something you would get from supermarket as microwavable rice. Just no. If you want to eat food like this the supermarket is a cheaper option. I don't understand some of the other reviewers on here and I only tried the place due to them, but if they don't understand what proper Indian food is really supposed to be like they shouldn't say anything as it encourages others to believe them.
Really nice food, service good too but very cramped, trying to squeeze in too many people. Difficult to set to the toilets, have to squeeze past other diners.Food: 5/5
Nice small place with beautiful athmosphere. Indian music was played quietly in the background. The menu had lots of different options and also offered vegetarian or even vegan dishes. The food tasted very good and was served hot. The portion were not too big. Service was quick and very friendly. I recommend a visit.
0ne of the best Onion Bhaji's i had in a long time. Fresh and light and crispy. The curry was delicious, but a bit too spicy. The Bangladeshi sizzling chicken was also very tasty and highly recommended.
