Morley Tandoori Take Away

Placed my order, quoted 1 hour delivery time. After an hour, my delivery time was extended on Just Eat's site by 25 mins. I had phoned after 1 hour 30 mins to chase the order and was told it would arrive in "next 10 mins". Delivery arrived after 2 hours. Confusion and delay - poor service all round. When order finally arrived, it was missing a side dish so I've been ripped off in addition to having waited very late for the food to arrive. Disgraceful and unprofessional, one to avoid.

The first time we ordered from here the food tasted absolutely amazing and was delivered within the 45 minute estimated time. The second time we ordered we was estimated 45 minutes again. An hour and a half later we still hadn't received our food so we called in and the guy said 10 more minutes, a further 30 minutes later we called again and he said 10 more minutes. we asked to cancel the order and refund the money back into my account as it had been over 2 hours and we had to get my kids food else where before the went to bed, the guy on the phone at first was very polite and apologetic... a week later my money hadn't been refunded and that the manager wasn't in so could he phone back... which he never did. over three days I phoned the restaurant over 40 times 32 times in one day as they were being extremely rude about refunding my money and then decided to take the phone off of the hook. After me threatening to take it further for fraud and reporting them the manager began shouting down the phone. then decided to refund my money back into my account. ALL of that for £20 for food I didn't end up receiving. VERY bad customers service, RUDE and impatient staff! the food it isn't worth the stress of the rudeness of these people!!! Disgusting.

Hit and miss. I've had a huge number of take-aways from here, and mostly they've been very good, but occasionally there's a problem: they get the order wrong e.g. they give you chicken instead of lamb, or the quality of the meat is poor e.g. tough chicken or gristly lamb, or the regular chef is away I assume and the flavour is just ... weird. Also, they recently started adding 50p to all orders paid for with a credit card, without making it clear that they were doing so. Update: After they got my order wrong, yet again, I have downgraded my score. They're just too unreliable.

DO NOT PAY VIA CREDIT CARD OR APPLE PAY for your delivery with this restaurant! This is the worst experience we've ever had when ordering take away via just eat because the order never came. They say they have "delivered" the order but never even came by the house or contacted us. Now the restaurant is closed, so they used that as an excuse to not show up. It is a disappointment on all levels, because they charged us for something that never got to us. Please save yourself the money, time and energy and get food from somewhere else!

Placed an order with these guys last month through a mobile app. After 2.5 hrs I still had no food so called to cancel. They were rude on the phone but agreed to a cancellation. However the restaurant marked the order as delivered anyway so I was still charged. Chasing a refund now. So basically if you want to go hungry and pay to receive no food, Morley is the place to go!

Had a good experience with a large order yesterday. Food was delicious good level of spice, doughy naan and when we arrived too early to pick up they gave us two beers and said they'd deliver for free when ready, which was only 15 mins later. Good website, friendly service, no complaints.

Clearly, they specialise in making people go to bed hungry. I waited over an hour for my food. Then called and they stated it was going to be there in 15 minutes. Nothing for 2 hours. They closed and I was another person who went to bed hungry. How can they operate a business. Sounds more like fraud. Accepting money for order they don't deliver then not refunding the money. Thanks for a miserable night Morely Tnadoori.

Food took 2.5 hours to arrive. Driver went to building number 28 instead of 24 as it was written in his directions and started calling me to say he couldnt find my address! Idiot! Food arrived COLD and tasted disgusting. Biryani which cost me £11.45 very expensive! tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago. I was shocked that places like this can stay in business with such awful food and service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! WORST INDIAN TAKEAWAY IN LONDON!

Worst experience ever for a take away ruined my night. Ordered around 11:30, got an email saying appx delivery time around 1:20. Immediately called hungryhouse to cancel order, guy spoke to the restaurant and the restaurant said that the order will reach me in 50mins. Guess what? Order never came. It's 2am, called hungryhouse, they apologized and asked me to order from elelsewhere, vave me a credit note and said that restaurant just kept them on hold when they tried to call them . What a waste of time

Slowest Indian takeaway in Lambeth? Similar to other reviewers, I placed my order at 7:30, and the food showed up an hour and a half later than the quoted time so, roughly 10PM 'It'll be 10 minutes' was a lie, after being 50 mins late. On to the food: the lamb saagwala was cold, but held good flavour even after being reheated; it was however very greasy. The cold narial rice was still great, cold samosas were flavourless, and I'm going to reheat the cold chicken korma later today. Portion sizes were pretty decent. All arrived cold. Value was abysmal, given the food was way overdue and I had to reheat it all; no apology provided by the restaurant. Edit: Update - the korma chicken was red in the centre. Raw chicken isn't usally great to eat. Thanks for nothing.
