It's not super sized with a massive range of bikes, the stock is not piled up with choices through the roof, there isn't a staff member around when you always need one. HOWEVER! Advice and guidance on looking after your bike Tips for god cycling routes Someone you can chat to about bikes And most of all, are their products of the highest quality? Conclusion: 9/10 I have become good friends with the mechanic in Conways and I always say I'd love to see the shop get more customers. Then again, they need to hire another staff member and increase stock, the current single employee has a lot of work on his hands.
Was having difficulties getting fatter tyres for a smoother ride on my Orbea Katu 50 and these lads were great ! Ordered suitable tyres in, arrived within 2 days perfect. Popped back for v brake pads a couple of days later and they had exactly what I wanted in stock, great.
Great shop and great guys in there. They were both very helpful with my bike and got my parts order super quick! Will definately be using them again!
Really great service. Helped me get the specific tyres I was wanting, sorted out my wheel which was damaged and did a full service and more. Will be using again in the future.
I took my Hybrid bike into Conways on Saturday as it had seized up and I couldn’t pedal it. This morning I had a call to say the repair was completed and I could collect it. The lad in charge of repairs was friendly, efficient and has done a great job. Thank You
I couldn’t recommend this shop enough. The service and advice provided is always top notch. I recently purchased a bike for my son from start cycles and the brake set up was terrible. I took it back to start cycles and received a rush job and the brake set up was still atrocious. I called Conways who booked me in the same day and I received the bike back the next working day with the brakes perfect. A local caring business who provide a top quality service.
Hubby found them excellent to deal with when trying to get hi electric bike fixed. Quick turnaround and excellent price too. Would recommend
Great shop, friendly staff, Mechanic is great at repairs and reasonably price for quality. Will be using again if I have any bike issues
From entering the shop the staff were brilliant, we weren't to sure what sort of bike the grandson should have. After a few questions it was recommended a BMX was the right choice much to the delight of the boy. He was invited to look at the good selection and quickly picked his favourite. We were invited to leave a refundable deposit and look in other shops. Grandson wanted that one, job done. Can't recommend the shop enough, well done and such honesty.
Had my bike 4 days and did none of the repairs I had asked for and then charged £60 very disappointed . Gears worse than when I took them in . I asked to to fix back wheel bearing's . They didn't even touch them . Bragged about cleaning my chain . Even tho I had put it on two days prior . If you want the to CON you CONway cycles is the place to go . update 1 month after service back when seized up and rear brake stopped working .... additional now the rear derailleur has fell apart even though they bragged about cleaning it up
