Was a stunning restaurant that is set in a prime location. We went for dinner that had been booked 6 weeks in advance and had a call the night before it was booked to ask where we were. Slight misunderstanding but was easily sorted on the phone. Starters were lovely and we both ordered steak for mains, unfortunately neither steak was cooked as we had asked. The waitress didn't come as we were eating to check if things were ok and we both ended up leaving the majority of our mains. The staff took the starters off the bill due to this. Was lovely to have been but doubt we would go again.

Dinner here is superb! Food is 5 star, although a lot of the starters are Asian inspired. However, the me u does change seasonally. Visit on a Friday or Saturday & you can relax in the piano bar after your meal, listening to a live singer and pianist. The choice of gin & whiskey is superb also. Definitely worth a visit.

Couldn't fault the service or food and highly recommended for anyone visiting Loch Ness and Inverness. We were sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Enjoyed our drinks listening to the church bells, soaking up the sunshine and river views. My wife and I both had the salmon and it was fantastic. The rocky road ice cream was the perfect way to finish. Great.

Beware if you are booking a Christmas meal here. I had to cancel due to attending a funeral and despite giving a week's notice they kept my £10 deposit. Under the circumstances this is very upsetting. Even more upsetting was the response of their 'guest relations manager' Angela W. trying to justify this on Tripadvisor by saying they could not resell the place. I doubt this very much. She certainly did nothing to encourage me to book there again.
