I came here for my F2F Swimming AssistantTeaching course L1. Had the most amazing teacher, Mrs Warner who made the course much more enjoyable than expected. I read some bad reviews and expected the worst before coming here but I’m giving it 4 stars for the following: 1. Clean throughout 2. Showers, lockers and changing rooms are good for such an old and dated building - would’ve been nice to know a £1 is needed for the lockers but the reception staff were so kind to borrow me a coin to use during my course. You might not be as lucky as me so come with some cash 3. Cafe on-site very limited options but edible 4. Lovely staff Lost the star for the following: 1. Building was very old and dated 2. Music from 1970 blasting all day 3. Unisex changing rooms 4. Unisex toilets
Good sports hall. My 2nd visit I came to watch my daughter Gymnastic competition. Made very good of the space, very modern. Canteen area good selection bit pricey but I didn’t expect anything else. Wheel chair friendly, toilets seemed bit dated. Overall a nice venue plenty parking spaces.
Nice place to go swimming. Clean, private showers which is always a bonus. The only issues I had were that the swim sessions are only 45 minutes long and also some of the changing cubicles didn't lock properly. Apart from that we had a nice time and the swimming prices are a lot cheaper than Hillsborough.
Course still very wet in places,green keeping staff doing a fantastic job in very poor weather conditions
On a 6 week cardiac rehab course Tuesdays and Thursdays. Exercises gym and education. Great facilities and fantastic staff from the Northern General Cardio clinic and physiotherapy unit.
We come here on regular basis for our daughters freestyle competition, the venue is great apart from on the side door near the car park is loads of glass - which is not ideal with a room full of kids who go outside regularly to cool down
Was in desperate need to sort out my back and shoulders. Contacted Dan sports physio and PT. Absolutely fantastic+++ he explains exactly what he's doing the issues he found. After just 2 sessions I couldn't believe the difference. Been back after 4 weeks just for a further issue I cause and he fixed in in one session. definitely going to keep going once a month just to keep on top of things. He has hands of absolute magic! Thanks Dan happy customer would HIGHLY recommend.
Some of the machines like pulldown needs repairing men's changing locker room is dirty not worth the money
Great place and reasonably priced membership. Love the staff and classes.
Out of all the gyms and sports centres in Sheffield, this is definitely the worse one. For example, they have not upgraded anything in the past 5 years no improvements at all. Also, everytime I call they put me on hold for as long as they can telling me that someone will answer and no one does. I have been in this place many times and jus hear the phones ring and the workers not doing nothing about it and not answering. Very unprofessional, and I will never step foot in there again!
