Story

Located at the edge of the Merchant City and next to the City Chambers, Committee Room 9 is a traditional Glasgow pub.

Offering a cosy warm, traditional welcome, fantastic value, some of the best pub food you'll ever try (our fish and chips wrapped in the paper is fast becoming legendary!), fine wines, quality draught beers and spirits and a memorable experience.

Committee Room 9 is the perfect place to come and enjoy a traditional taste of Glasgow and is only a stones throw away from the Italian Centre, arguably best shopping district in the city, Strathclyde and Caledonian Unis and George Square.

Committee Room No.9 is child friendly but please note when you are making bookings, our restaurant is only licensed for persons under the age of 18 until 8pm in the evening.

Great food and service. It took us a minute to figure out how to order, but once we did, everything was wonderful. What a great place to relax and wind down after a long day. Thanks for making us feel like part of the Committee family!Food: 5/5
1st time in Committee Room No9 and won't be my last, was in with my wife to watch the football and there were tvs and big screens a plenty, also the Guinness was superb all the staff were friendly and chatty, wasn't too busy to start with but soon filled up. Food was decent just had some small plates to share and it was enough and all reasonably priced. But I will say again the Guinness was superb.
Let me make a booking for a sporting event I would have liked to have seen. Then without warning until arrival told me they will no longer be showing it. Apology seemed forced and non genuine. Would avoid booking if you’d like to actually see the event you’ve booked for. 1*Food: 1/5
We reached there during lunch time for some quick bite and beer. Ended up staying for 4 hours. Loved the local beer with some fresh fish and chips with hot dogs. It was not crowd for us to sit outside and enjoy the sun. We will definitely go again for the next time, 100% recommend for a laid back environment, with good food and nice beer
Been here twice and the service is brilliant. I booked a table but there was an admin error and it hadn't gone through. The staff set us up with an area until they could make us one. They even checked to make sure we happy. Highly recommend for the staff's service. Very lovely team and I hope management recognise their hard work.Service: 5/5
2 pint steins..of anything on draft..what more to be said..excellent idea and always great service and nice atmosphere.. Fantastic for watching the match, not eaten here yet but will be doing soon. Awesome bar.. can get busy on certain student event type nights but never a long wait to get served when it is

Came here last friday to watch the ireland italy six nations game and what a good night!! Music was great, drinks well priced and Emily same name haha!! on the bar was so sweet!Food: 5/5
Amazing ribs, best ever! Ate here twice. Chili was very good as well. Burger, however, was abysmal, overcooked. Waiters were nice, friendly and helpful but I recommend you seek them out proactively if you want to place your order quickly as they seem to ignore any walk-ins for a long time.
