Story

Located at the edge of the Merchant City and next to the City Chambers, Committee Room 9 is a traditional Glasgow pub.

Offering a cosy warm, traditional welcome, fantastic value, some of the best pub food you'll ever try (our fish and chips wrapped in the paper is fast becoming legendary!), fine wines, quality draught beers and spirits and a memorable experience.

Committee Room 9 is the perfect place to come and enjoy a traditional taste of Glasgow and is only a stones throw away from the Italian Centre, arguably best shopping district in the city, Strathclyde and Caledonian Unis and George Square.

Committee Room No.9 is child friendly but please note when you are making bookings, our restaurant is only licensed for persons under the age of 18 until 8pm in the evening.

Lovely food, friendly staff, excellent prices, would recommend and will visit again

It’s ok. Not the cheapest but it’s the area you’re in so understandable. Usually very busy. Great place to watch the footy.

Great dirty fries

Had a wonderful night on Saturday at the Committee rooms. A fairly frequent  customer. Staff are always very polite and courteous. Great food and even better prices. Would like to wish the management and staff a wonderful Christmas. You deserve it after all your dedication to your customers. 

Amazing ribs, best ever! Ate here twice. Chili was very good as well. Burger, however, was abysmal, overcooked. Waiters were nice, friendly and helpful but I recommend you seek them out proactively if you want to place your order quickly as they seem to ignore any walk-ins for a long time.

It's a good pub, nice selection of beer and drinks. Very welcoming. Lots of sports are shown but unlike some pubs these are not all ways a distraction if your not interested. The food is good but not as good as it was a year ago, not sure what happened but hopefully it will improve.

Decent beer selection and loads of screens, so great for sports events.

Love this pub been coming here for years. Good atmosphere and sometimes come here for live music for to watch sports. The food here is quite good and there is a good selection of drink's here. Definitely worth a visit

Nice food. Excellent service. Great bar man who made me feel tired watching him keep running up and down a flight of stairs. A very hard worker. Worth s visit for a decent bar meal.
