Horrible experience, booked a cab to go the airport, the car arrived 20 minutes late, the driver rather than apologise started to dispute that the price agreed during the booking was too low. At the first corner the driver stopped the car and asked to be paid upfront. For the all journey he was complaining he should have been paid more.. I feel even 1 star out of five is too generous for such a poor service. Never again.
I booked a taxi for my mum and aunty the day before they had to go to work as they work in a hospital in central London and there was a strike. The next morning after receiving a confirmation text, the driver calls me and tells me he won’t take them because it’s central London. Not only this, but the price was £40 compared to £26 on Uber comfort. He Literally called me 2 minutes before pick up to tell me he won’t do his job, when I booked the cab over 24h prior. Absolutely worthless company.
Hitchhiker's Guide to another cab firm. Booked a cab for a hospital appointment yesterday for today.....They confirmed! Called again today 10min before journey to confirm time?.....They confirmed! Cab didn't arrive!! Called again, controller said.... "No Drivers!"
Used them twice - first time was good, but the second time was absolutely evil. Waited just over 35 minutes for a cab. I had to keep calling them for updates and all I received was "he's 5 minutes away" or "he's 2 minutes away". No discussion of any compensation for wasting my time no courtesy calls to keep me updated. To top it all off when he did show up after I'd called another cab service who were there in under the discussed time had the cheek to ask me to get in the car. Normally if I have something negative to say I would keep it to myself, but this really got to me and wanted to make you all aware of this before choosing this service. They played on my kindness, so if the cabby isn't there in the time discussed on the initial call, just cancel.
I called Commercial Cars for the first time late last night, a text confirmed the booking, arrived on time, and the driver was polite and professional. I just had to leave a glowing review. I'd been travelling for 19 hours, due to weather delays, and I was so tired I left my laptop in the back of the car. This morning I called and there was no sign of it, but I assumed the driver had been on nights and would still be asleep so I emailed my details. This evening I rang again and immediately the controller said yes we have your laptop, I just picked it up and he was so nice. The driver got a small token of appreciation to thank him for kindly returning it. They now have a new customer!
They are disgusting cheaters and rude customer service. When I was booking the cab I asked them for the price, and the guy told me it will be £55. But when I got to the destination the driver said £60. I told him that this is not what I agreed during the booking so he showed me on some monitor, that the price he has is £60. I called the booking service to clarify, and when I started to explain the guy hang up on me. I could hear the phone dropping loudly. I called again and he hanged up immediately. I paid £60 But I will never ever book them again and I don't recommend to do so. This is just rude and outrageous service
Great service,perfect drivers
I normally booked cabs with them but had so many problems like booking with 7 hours in advance and when i called them to pick me up the guy told me he don't have any car to send. And 90% of the drivers doesn't speak/understand any english. Tonight was last time when i book with them
