When making the online booking i had ticked the option for a child sit which the car didn't have. The driver didn't pay attention to the road, therefore didn't go out in the right exit for the airport which made the arrival time 20-30 min later, when he noticed he made a mistake he stopped in the middle of the highway and wanted to cut through to the exit where it wasn't allowed, i had to tell him it is dangerous and to keep going. Luckily we made the flight on time and in one piece! The claim that i will make something like this up is preposterous, reckless driving is not a joke.
I booked early morning taxi to airport the driver arrived well early was very friendly and smart, I recommend anyone to use their service is very professional.
Shocking service.........rude and hung up phone after paying for taxi in advance hours earlier and said we havnt got one and didn't refund after saying they would do I never right reviews but they take money and do not send taxis happened before DO NOT BOOK OR PAY ONLINE PLEASE
Do not book i would have given it 0 stars taxi did not turn up when I contacted them they said they had no taxi and hung up the phone I called again they said they had no taxi in the area and was late for a theatre show they said I would get an email for a refund which I did not receive DO NOT BOOK !!!!! Rude person on the phone said he didn't have confirmation of the booking but then said it had been paid when I advised the money had gone out of my bank
I booked a van to as i was moving house. The driver was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend
DO NOT use, unreliable and aweful service. Cancelled our airport pickup last mimute in the middle of the night. 2 days later still no refund. Update: 2 weeks later still no refund and no communication. Update 3: refund finally recieved. Took from 19 June to 10 July to sort out. They did text me on the 10th that they refunded. I booked a pickup ~10 hours before departure. I confirmed that the driver will follow any delays and adjust pickup time. A couple hours later I informed them, with screenshots, that our flight was delayed. Didn't get any responses. Land at 2am and switch phone on to find a message sent while we were in the air informing they are cancelling. Reason: "I'm sorry to say that I have to cancel your cab booking because of your flight delay. We have so many other bookings to do at the same time" I used them on the way out as our usual airport taxi company had no availability. They fortunately turned up on time, was a 6am flight. I thought I'd use them on the way back, big mistake. Thanks for leaving us hanging in the middle of the night Cannon Cars London Ltd. At least if you informed us early we could have made another booking and avoided the stress. Update1: no refund yet and no response to may messages. Why am I not surprised. Calling them wasn't much help more excuses. Told passing to the admin team. 72hrs for refund. Wouldn't put me through to the operations manager that's responsible for refunds. Absolute joke.
I would like to share two experiences with Cannon Cars, one positive, one much less so. We pre booked a pick up from the O2 through Taxicode, a broker, and Cannon Cars took the job. The journey was on the first night of rail strikes and with one lane of the Blackwall tunnel also closed, the traffic around the O2 was gridlocked. Our driver was unable to access the O2 so asked us to walk about 10 minutes to pick us up. Can't fault the driver, he waited well beyond what was reasonable to complete the job when he could have easily have just given up. Visiting the O2 again this week we naturally turned to Cannon Cars and booked a pick up, in advance. A couple of days before we tried to amend our pick up time by 15 minutes through the Cannon Cars web chat. No response. This was followed by a phone call; the contact initially confusing our booking then finally confirmed the new pick up time over the phone. However at the appointed time 11:00pm and location - there was no taxi and no phone or text messages but then I checked my email and found one sent at 8:20pm advising our booking had been cancelled "because they were overbooked". When we phoned Cannon Cars, they offered no excuse apart from they had refunded our money and had emailed us to tell us the journey was cancelled. I asked them how I could reasonably read my email during the middle of a concert? I would have given them 5 stars a week ago but now I would not recommend them. If you take a booking you should fulfil it or make more of an effort to contact the customer in the event of a problem. To us, it felt like they took our booking then cancelled it when something more lucrative came along than our short journey. End result we caught an Uber - more expensive but more reliable. Cannon Cars phone number deleted.
Cannon Cars cancelled a Heathrow pick up that was booked weeks in advance just a few hours prior to flight arrival. No notice, the only reason I even knew they had cancelled was that I called them in the afternoon. I had received their automatic booking confirmation that same afternoon and noticed it had the incorrect time. When I called, they said their online system was not correct to take the booking in the first place & they would not be sending a driver!. Ended up booking with another taxi company, but at such short notice had to pay a premium. Would not recommend for airport pick ups.
