Been wanting to try this place for ages now, and we were not disappointed! We chose to have 6 oysters for starters, they tasted so fresh and were so delicious!nAnd then we shared the seafood platter and wow it had everything! Mussels, scallops, prawns, langoustines, salmon and other fish. We finished the lot and it tasted incredible!nThe views were amazing and the service was lush too!nWill definitely be back.
The food was very good, but what made our afternoon wonderful was we were given the best table in the house with views for three to look at the sea to the North, East and South. Really nice table and 'U' shaped booth.nnWe ordered the seafood platter with a saiad side order. Perfect for three hungry adults and no waste; with a little room left for Affogato, Pana cotta with blackcurrant, pistachio, vanilla and strawberry ice cream.nnWe will be back as this was the best service we have experienced in the North East and we have been eating out now for over 18 years.nnGreat atmosphete, lovely views, exceptionally well cooked and caught seafood, relaxed and no service charge .... so we left a tip, everyone played their part, what a great team you have.nnA minor point, the strawberry ice cream felt very opal fruit like just like bought in ... unlike the raspberry lemonade which was exquisite and felt like someone had put some love into it.
Absolutely AMAZING staff - exiting congrats with BD from them! Delicious food, I'm meat fun, but after Colmans' dishes I'm ready to fite for the fish and seaside food Thank you very much - you made my celebration PERFECT
On the sea front. In a glass dome. Service and food both top class. Prices were very good compared to the quality. Thoroughly recommend
Not as good as it thinks it is.nWe ate off the £24 for two course menu. Soft shell crab taco with spicy mayo. So much heat you could not taste the salad or the crab.nSame with the Ndula mussels. 6 mussels out of shell and a huge wedge of bread but so much heat no taste of anything else.nnThe fish and chips were OK. Average, mediocre. Certainly had far better on this coast in the past. But the baby Dover sole was excellent.nnWe'd advise booking if you want to try it.
