Love this place. Best fish, chips and gravy around. Fab toasted tea cakes too, lovely with a cuppa. Harry won’t go past without having his dog sausage. Nice to sit both outdoors and indoors. Extremely dog friendly. See you again very soon.
Nice seaside cafe with friendly staff and good food.
My self and two friends had a pot of tea each I also had a fruit scone with both a pot of jam and apot of thick cream very tasty it was to and the tea was good to all this for under 10pounds well worth it and it's very clean and toasty warm as it was bitter cold down the sea front today would recommend it to everyone Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access at the rear entrance
I've been here a few times before always busy usually about a twenty minute wait I was there with grandkids they were looking forward to sausage and chips but unfortunately they were very disappointed as the sausage wasn't battered I've had fish and chips here a couple of times and they've always been nice Kid-friendliness: Have kids menu Parking: Parking about 200mts away on beach front £5 all day

Beautiful fresh fish and chips, not greasy, great portion size for the money and lovely millionaire shortbread and flapjack. Great to refuel after the Great North Run!
Just had late lunch at Smith's Seaview Cafe. Gorgeous fish and chips cooked just as we asked for. Service was fantastic and the staff are very friendly. The cafe is immaculately clean. Will definitely be back
Really like this cafe. Lovely food and the staff are always so friendly. Called today when it was rainy and freezing cold, so it was lovely to sit near the log burning stove. Nice and cosy.
We used to take our kid's now we take our grandkid's. Best fish & chips we know of Staff always friendly & professional. Excellent price. Some standards never change. Recommend 100%
