Great little place, nice breakfast apart from the inability to cook bacon properly. Asked for soft bacon, got shoe leather. Got more bacon, one piece was fine, rest verging on shoe leather. How hard is it to cook bacon properly..

I really want to rate Barkers Coffee higher as the place itself is nice and has a lot of potential still but quite often the service is attrocious to the point I've walked out without being served many a time. It often gets very dirty during busy periods too. On the plus side the food is pretty good (if expensive for what is is) for the most part but often the coffee is hit and miss, fluctuating wildly in terms of quality. It wouldn't take too much to really improve the offering, it's more an attention to detail and consistency that's needed rather than any major changes.

Rude staff on the till , but food came out quickly and standard was good , I would say though, mannors cost nothing.

Great coffee shop and general hang out hub of Cardiff, we are regulars at Coffee barker and have had nothing but great experiences with the friendly and attentive staff! The management even let us have a photoshoot on the premises.
