A nice and cosy side-alley that feels like you're miles away from the busy city centre while it's actually ten metres away. Houses a jewellery store, vinyl store, small bookshop with books about big ideas and a co-working space that serves great food. Add a passive-agressive llama on top of that and you've earned your five stars.
Great place for a coffee at the Th!nk Cafe and the staff are nice. Has a place to sit down too, which is lovely in summer. It's also great for photography, as it has some great architecture and great overhead lighting arrangements
This place does a wonderful job at supporting new initiatives. Everyone I've met working here has been wonderful, except the man in the book / magazine shop Ideas On Paper located above Keishi Jewellery. The owner of Ideas On Paper is rude - some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Such a shame - Keishi Jewellery are wonderful, Think is doing so much for our community... each one of the small businesses located in Cobden Chambers truly are wonderful, except for Ideas On Paper which taints it.
I love the atmosphere, the smell, the food, the staff, the way everything is set out. Just love it here, so quirky, definately be coming back! So welcoming
Cobden Chambers, is not easy to find. There is a small archway between buildings on Pelham Street, itself one of Nottingham's oldest streets. The locality forms part of Nottingham's Creative Quarter. Cobden Chambers is a row of Victorian factories renovated into low-rent accommodation for creative start-up companies. As they are new companies, the turnover can't be easily predicted, some grow and move out, some fail. Nevertheless, it's well worth a visit if you like Victorian architecture and / or alternatively you enjoy browsing and purchasing really innovative, quality jewellery, clothes and artefacts.
Full of character, a little pocket of sunshine. Quiet little cafe, perfect for a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
Interesting place, great for vintage fans to grab a coffee and shop for vintage clothes
Great coworking space! Loads of cool people!
Hidden destination in Nottingham great for exploring all the little independent businesses or just enjoying the courtyard
Cool place retro furniture and clothing cool place to relax
