We turned up on spec on a Bank Holiday Sunday, so they were fully booked, but they managed to squeeze us in for an hour and twenty minutes, which was enough for a starter and a main, and they never made us feel rushed.
I had a great big portion of whitebait to start and then the "smoked haddock rarebit" which had Indian flavoured rice, so I guess it was a twist on Kedgeree. They were both very tasty. The menu is very varied.
I would also recommend the Sula, Indian Sauvignon Blanc.
Staff were excellent. I would definitely return, and book a table next time to make sure I have time for dessert.

Wonderful food in a cosy atmosphere, but the standout feature is the friendly helpful staff. A wonderful experience overall. They were kind enough to house our Bromptons next door in their shop.
Definitely the best place in Southwold
