Just been in the store and tried on some barbour boots. They were super comfy and I wanted to buy them. When the lady who had brought them out for me to try stopped to see how they were I came over and said that they were very comfortable but.... as I has a question. On hearing the word 'but' she took them out of my hands. I stopped mid sentence and said 'oh do you want them back?' She said yes and went into the stock room and put them on the shelf. Appalled by this bizarre behaviour I started to leave then turned and asked - why did you do that. It was so rude. She said. You said but so you weren't going to buy them. I said I was going to say that the colour on the tip of the boots was so different  it looked like they were from 2 different pairs. That's how they always are she retorted. I left the shop and met my husband who had gone to put more money in the parking meter and getting my purse. How wrong she was! I was going to buy them and my husband was also wondering about trying on a pair. Also not great to say in hearing of customers about how your new assistant had made an error again on the till. She's only new. Rude. Disgusting customer service. Will never return. Interesting to see how long this review lasts. Copied for communication to Barbour to see if she's right and all their boots are the same!
