Europe's first Clip 'n Climb. A stunning series of climbing based activities that provide healthy, challenging fun for everyone.
From pre-school kids to recycled kids, everyone will love the physical and mental challenges that Clip 'n Climb provides. Using automatic belay devices which take in the slack as you climb and then lower you gently down to the ground, indoor climbing has never been easier or more exciting.
Test your resolve and determination on Inflated, climb commando style on the Jungle Gym, reach new heights on Skyscraper, take the Speed Climbing challenge or light up the board on Checkerplate. We visited for my son's birthday, and both my kids 7 & 9 had an amazing time. Great selection of climbs for the kids and because we booked the very first slot, it was fairly quiet for the first half hour, so no problems getting on the climbs we wanted. I'm not sure about what it's like when it is fully booked, as they seem to run a max of 16 climbers every half hour, so potentially 32 climbers at once - this could result in queues for some of the climbs. The auto-belay system is simple to use and very safe. It's impossible to free the rope if you aren't properly clipped in, which is very reassuring when you have younger kids climbing. Facilities on site are good, with toilets and a cafe open all day. There's no dedicated parking, but there's a pay and display car park about 2 mins walk away. Fantastic fun for kids, and I may even have a go myself next time so I can encourage my.kids!
We loved our visit. It's a safe and healthy way for kids to use their boundless energy. An hour long slot is enough time to go up each of the numerous climbing walls many times. Some of the walls are easier while others are more challenging and there are a couple of timed walls for those who really get into it. The system is very well thought out to ensure safety while still giving the children some autonomy to choose where to climb and to clip themselves in. Our 8 year old girl could do it all herself, no problem. Parents can mingle with their kids or watch from the 1st floor or sit and have a coffee at the cafe.

Very professional service. You have to take the test to make sure you can climb safely… staff very attentive. Prices are reasonable, so take your own kit…

Second time bringing our son here for his birthday with friends. Its a brilliantly well run and set up place. Staff are all very lovely and helpful. Kids had a great time and the lattes were banging!
Kids group party on the weekend. Perfect and safe way to enjoy a well instructed afternoon Not everything was accessable at the time but still great fun was had buy all. Great facilities!
First time my daughter went with her Beaver group. She is very nervous of heights and has little upper body strength. Was watching with my younger daughter from above and saw she only wanted to climb 2-3 meters. With encouragement from a staff member she did go a little higher. She loved it though and wants to go back. Maybe she will get to the top one day
Fun and busy. We had a children’s party there and whilst everything on the climbing side was great, staff in the cafe didn’t seem very interested nor knew what we’d ordered.
Brought my 8yr old boy for his first proper indoor climb, he loved it. Great place and facilities highly recommend.
