One of the best gyms I have been to. When I first started I was terrified and suffered with really bad anxiety. The coaches have been incredibly supportive throughout my journey and have been so friendly. Classes are warm and welcoming and everybody supports each other in a positive way. If you are unsure or nervous the FSC environment will be one of the best for you to train in!
Love this club. Really is the backbone to my fitness and I’m constantly learning new skills to go with it. What I love the most is that my kids can train there too, which bodes well for them, as not only are they learning new skills and confidence, they are also taught to be humble and are encouraged to be polite, use good manners and be helpful. It’s all positive, and I know that if I want to take it further, I definitely can with those guys
I'm new to Muay Thai, although I have studied other martial arts over the years and know what to look for in a new gym. My first Impression was being made to feel welcome and put instantly at ease by coaches and fellow students alike. So far, I have trained with coaches Sonny, Chris and Lucky. All of whom are clearly highly skilled, passionate and enthused about what they do. This instantly comes across in their teaching. Moves and techniques are explained and demonstrated in such a way that a novice such as myself can pick them up. I have already noticed the difference after just a few classes, and look forward to continuing my training. In summary, I can wholeheartedly recommend training at FSC Muay Thai!
Really friendly and inclusive environment for training Muay Thai. Amazing coaches who train everyone from beginner to Pro with excellent attention and enthusiasm. I train there, my wife trains there and our seven year old daughter trains there and we all love it and appreciate the hard work that the coaches put in.
I joined the club after a pretty rough period, I was on a calorific warpath to say the least…within two months, i went from 14.5 stone 35W to 12.0 stone 28W. If you want a fun, encouraging way to lose weight FAST and learn a new skill at the same time, you’ve come to the right place. Sonny and the rest of the team have a fantastic attitude towards the sport especially sue and towards their clients. If you’re thinking about coming, come. It’s the best choice you’ll make.
So this review is based on my experience of the juniors class having hung around and watched 2 classes. Beyond excellent. The first time we went for a taster I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Coach Sonny is fantastic with the children-he knows their names, he knows exactly how to keep their attention & how to build their confidence. Coach Sonny bounces around the room offering regular praise and feedback directly to each child as they demonstrate what they have just practiced. The atmosphere is positive and energetic partly thanks to the absolutely banging dance music and partly due to the pace of the activities. The other coaches drafted in to help are amazing; they patiently and skillfully help the children to get the most out of their training and smile while they are doing it. Equipment is abundant and in good condition so no one wastes time waiting to use the kit-punch bags and other assorted things that you can wallop.
Amazing gym. Coaches are hugely experienced, enthusiastic and supportive, helping you reach your personal goals be it fitness, self defence or training to elite standards. Took over a year off after a fall off a bike and was gladly welcomed back to training by Sonny. Loads of equipment available and plenty of floor space. Online booking system is easy to use and facebook group is there for support, advice and announcements.
This is an amazing gym and the teachers are excellent. The sessions are very engaging and really good fitness. The social distancing is taken very seriously, and the instructors are on top of it. I feel very safe when I'm in the gym because we are all so spread apart and in our own zone. Definitely would recommend training here.
Best Muay Thai club in devon
FSC is a brilliant Muay Thai gym. They have been running engaging and challenging sessions throughout lockdown, and all sessions whether they be on zoom or in person are of equally high quality. Coach Sonny and Coach Lucky are so knowledgeable and supportive and have helped me to make so much progress. The classes are well run and the atmosphere is so welcoming. They have also dealt with Covid measures really well. I feel confident attending the gym as the Coaches are very stringent when it comes to hygeine and everything is run responsibly. To be honest, not sure what I would do without them! Highly recommend.
