Clifton Park Hospital is a modern, purpose built in-patient hospital located just outside York city centre. Registered with the Care Quality Commission the hospital has 24 beds, including enhanced care, two theatres, a day case unit, a large out patients department with x-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy including a small gym area.

From the initial consultation through to the pre-op, the surgery and then the post op appointment all the staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease. I was well looked after throughout the whole process.nMr Adamthwaite was very professional. He was very thorough and explained the procedure in great detail. He listened to what I wished to achieve and worked realistically to make sure the procedure would benefit my height and shape. Very happy with the end result. Can’t thank Mr Adamthwaite enough. After being unhappy for many years, I now feel much happier and more confident. Definitely recommend Mr Adamthwaite and Clifton Park Hospital.

I went in for an operation on 10th March and all the nurses, doctors and anaesthetists were amazing from me arriving to leaving. All the staff are a credit to the hospital. They were amazing with the care and put me so at ease. They were all so polite and lovely to me. Thank you all so much again and you really are fantastic in what you do!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

Overall not a great experience. Staff on the recovery ward made me feel extremely uncomfortable after my surgery, anesthesiologist extremely rough leaving major bruising, I also do not feel I was given sufficient pain relief. I have also had to go to into an emergency surgery at York general hospital due to complications from the surgery, not a very nice environment in my opinion.

I am in here for hip surgery. Perfectly clean building everywhere. Very attentive and professional staff. Great food. Very up-to-date technology and the greatest care.
