Bias, as I’ve always visited the area as a family since a child. But I think it’s the most beautiful seaside location of any campsite we’ve visited in the UK. Jon and team are great, breakfast perfect, we’ll definitely head back.
My family and I stayed for 3 nights in August ‘22 and absolutely loved it! Jon and his team have thought of everything. Stunning location with great amenities. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
Loved our stay! The tents and surrounding areas are beautiful. John and Alison were amazing, very helpful - wonderful coffee's, breakfast and pizza's! We will definitely be back for more.
We had a wonderful time here, fabulous bell tents with tripod for bbq. Toilets and showers super clean. Friendly staff, great with children, we really loved staying there!
Jon and the team at Bells were such fantastic hosts, the site is beautiful and very clean, we will definitely be returning 100% love the place
Fantastic location. Spent the weekend with a friend and our 5 children. Would go again.
The bell tents were lovely, spacious and clean with decent blow up mattresses. The facilities is what really let the experience down! There were 4 portaloos and ONE porta shower for over 70 people not remotely adequate. They were really quite horrible, not cleaned regularly enough and for the cost- not at all worth it. For 1 adult and 2 children, I paid over £200 for two nights, a hotel stay would have been less expensive. I’ve been on many camping trips in the past but this time, decided to try glamping as it seemed to be a little bit more luxurious but still had the best elements of camping. The view was great, the tents themselves were well kept etc but essentially, it was as basic as it could be and absolutely should NOT be called ‘glamping’. There were a couple of taps placed around the field, random portaloos and no shower/toilet block and despite advertising a ‘pop up shop’ it didn’t exist- in fact, to nip out to get milk took 20 mins by car each way. We were able to buy firewood in the field at 3x usual price but that was all. Overall, really disappointed that we wasted the money and would have found normal camping with adequate facilities more enjoyable at a quarter of the cost.
Very very pretty location, and extremely attractive staff members I used to work here
This place is great. The bell tent was a great setting and the firepit was nice in the evening! The view is incredible, and the people who run it were very friendly and helpful! Thank you!
Nice setting, but no toilets and running water is far. Not good for family camping trips etc.
