Fabulous day out. Go on the free guided tour for 45mins at 11am. Then decide what you want to see. Good little cafe in a pretty garden with lovely views across the harbour; fascinating wildlife - we saw red squirrels - & Interesting visitor centre. Don't miss the church, scout camp or the remains of the pottery on the beach. Walks of varying lengths. Try the boat trip around the islands in Poole harbour instead of heading straight back to Poole Quay at the end of your visit.

A lovely place to visit with people of all ages. A lot of walking but wheelchairs and pushchairs can be borrowed if needed. Boat trip across is great!

Well worth a visit, absolutely lovely place, very peaceful and plenty of room for children to run around. It's along walk round and as a person with walking difficulties found it tough under foot at times, but so glad I went. The ferry is pricey, £7 each return for a short journey and then you have the admission charges as always makes it a dear do for families.

Fantastic day out saw 4 red squirrels, deer and hand fed peacocks. Lovely walks and informative boat trip back to Poole. In all 5 hours so well worth the money.

What an amazing place. If you like nature you'll love Brownsea. Lots of delightful woodland and some intriguing coastal spaces on this unique island just a few minutes from the mainland
