The most lovely campsite in such a beautiful location. The facilities where excellent and the café onsite cooked really delicious food all homemade by Jill! and sold cute local made goodies. The hospitality I received by Caroline, Phill and Jill was so welcoming and I couldn't of had a better stay. The site itself is close to a number of nature reserves and found nestled in Hartland Moor nature reserve itself which is absolutely stunning. The wildlife onsite is unmatched and I loved sitting on the hill and watching the sunset whilst the birds flew by. I couldn't recommend more!
Lovely campsite situated in a great location. 5 minute drive to Corfe Castle. Very quiet and lots of room. Facilities were nothing fancy but clean and all you need. The Kitchen was lovely with hot coke and drinks available and amazing homemade cakes and pastries! Highly recommend!
We have been to Hartland Stud a number of years and each time the site improves with extra facilities making the stay more enjoyable. This summer another shower block with hot water had been added making one of the trickiest parts of camping an even easier thing to do.nnThe campsite is across a slight dip in a Nature Reserve and has a number of fields to choose from with a different feel to each - with trees, a stream, shelter and open space …. I’m still not still not sure which is our favourite.nnThe cafe, yoga classes, sitting areas, barns, toilets and shower blocks all have the friendly touch of the owners who look after Hartland and are on site to help.nnWhenever we’ve been there adults and families with children seem to be enjoying themselves and getting on well.nnWell done.
This is a beautiful campsite there were showers toilets for the price it was incredible. The location is fantastic I wish I had known before I would have stayed another night. There is a large cafe. I was cycling the coast and stayed 1 night. I would highly recommend this place if you are an outdoor person who isnt fussy about loads of facilities, ie a proper camper. Corfe castle is nearby and the ferry to Sandbanks.
An absolutely wonderful campsite set in a very peaceful and idyllic area. The owners are lovely and friendly. Jill's coffee shack provides great snacks and drinks when needed, plus wonderful conversation while you wait and some great recommendations for what to do and where to eat!nnThe campsite is slightly interrupted by the noise of the nearby main road, but not enough to disturb the overall peaceful vibe of the area. Sadly, I'm only giving it 3 stars as the toilet facilities are a bit lacking. Two showers are not enough for the size of the campsite and the water temperature is really temperamental. We stayed for four nights and I didn't get a warm shower once! Make sure to time your showers either very early in the morning or early afternoon if you want your water hot. Other than that, the eco loos are really pleasant to use if you want to avoid the queue for the toilet!nnOverall, an absolutely wonderful camp site that is slightly let down by the lack of hot water and the need for more showers. Would absolutely stay again!
