Excellent service great value for money

Last Friday night around 9pm I was driving to Harrogate to meet some friends. My car started to jolt on the motorway, I slowed down and tried to put it to the back of my mind and carried on driving. I got through a village called Spofforth, went over a bridge and started to turn around quite a severe 90 degree corner. My steering and brakes completely stopped working and I had no control of my car what so ever. My car swerved onto the opposite side of the road facing the on coming traffic on the horrendous corner. It was pitch black and car lights were blinding. Cars were only just avoiding my car sat helplessly in the road. My first thought was to put on my hazards, cry and call my dad!! My dad lives in Selby therefore was going to take him around an hour to get to me. I felt so helpless and sat in the car crying and shaking and couldn't think straight at all. As I waited, a guy pulled up next to me and signalled to put my window down, being in utter shock I couldn't think straight and just sat there crying. The guy pulled up in front of me and jumped out of his car. He introduced himself as Dene and that he was a mechanic and had a garage just down the road at Kirk Deighton (very close to where my car had broken down) I felt nervous and everything was a blur. He showed me his facebook page with all the amazing reviews and I felt at ease. He got into my car and told me positively it was the alternator that had gone. He rung another mechanic who lived in Spofforth to bring a tow bar (this was now around 10pm on Friday night) as he went to get that, Dene stayed with me trying to take my mind off what had happened realising how shocked I was, my dad turned up and Dene assured my dad everything would be ok and explained to him what had happened. The boys towed my car to Classic Magic and he said he would try and get a new alternator first thing Saturday morning. I also work very close to the garage. Dene rung me at 11:45 on Saturday morning to tell me he had fixed my car! He said he would come and pick me up from work to collect my car. I felt SO happy to have my car back again!!! Dene also had plans Friday night and was heading into Harrogate to meet his friends however he saw my car stranded at the side of the road and stopped to help me. Dene could of easily driven past me and not thought anything of it however he didn't. There isn't a lot of people in the world that would do something like this for someone. I cant thank Dene and his team enough for abandoning their Friday night plans to save me. Dene told me that his team ALWAYS stop for anyone they pass who has broken down no matter what time it is. I am now going to take my car to Classic Magic for its MOT's and any other issues I have with the car as they are such a friendly, honest and genuinely caring team that put 100% effort in to everything. Again, I would like to say thank you so so much for everything, my little TT is now running perfectly :)
