I have again been to Knaresborough Tyres and once again have had a great experience, where I was given expert advice, this time for what I needed for the braking problem I was having with my van. In the past I have been to other tyre repair/replace businesses, only to find out later that I did not need the work done. I have absolute confidence in this family run business, the staff in the workshop, and the quality of work, plus the parts and equipment that they recommend. For me, they are the best, and long may it continue. Well done guys.
300 miles from home, dived in from the A1 to have an emergency puncture repair. Brilliant while you wait service, quick repair no pressure to buy a new tyre, lovely clean place - highly recommend.

Always get excellent professional service here. Very competative prices. Been using them since I started driving back in 1980.
I was recommended to these guys and they certainly lived up to their reputation. On calling in to see them on Wednesday 9th, they quickly diagnosed that my tracking was badly out and booked my car in for 2 new front tyres to be fitted last Saturday. Their service was friendly, very professional and at a reasonable cost too. Would highly recommend them!

Went for new tyres for daughter's car and couldn't have been more impressed. The customer service was excellent and the whole experience was very positive
I have been going to Knaresborough Tyres for 3 years and always felt I could trust them, but this last time I took my car in for its MOT was a bit of a joke…they told me they had to abandon the test because my car was spewing smoke out and misfiring. They told me I’d have to get it recovered as the injectors had failed, it wasn’t drivable and that it would need to be scrapped. As this didn’t sound like the car I dropped off for a simple MOT test, I collected it, drove it to another garage and got a second opinion. After a simple cleaning treatment for the DPF, my car passed its MOT and runs fine like before. I’d advise any women using this garage to tread carefully, as I got the impression they were trying to make money out of me. Thankfully, although I don’t know about cars in general, I know my car, and I knew something wasn’t right about what they were saying to me so I got a second opinion. Always trust your instincts.
