I was dreading buying shoes for my son, each time it’s long, painful but the ladies were amazing, it was busy but an amazing control system. We were seen quickly. Explained the shoes I wanted I saw online, found, fitted and out. Painless. I would highly recommend.
After being fobbed off by Clarks, St Austell the Truro branch couldn’t be more helpful. I was able to return boots I’d purchased online & exchange them for a pair that fitted with ease & courtesy. Thanks so much
Awful experience from start to finish. The two sales assistants were completely clueless! The customer care from Clark’s not much better. Over 4 weeks to receive a refund because I couldn’t bear to step foot inside the shop again! I’m off to Falmouth next time and hope they are better. Schu a few doors away are far superior!
We visited Clarks, Truro last week and were served by a lovely lady named Charmaine. She was very professional and went above and beyond for every minute we were there. It was extremely refreshing to have such a caring and enthusiastic person looking out for our needs rather than just being interested in a quick sale. Could not recommend anyone better! Will definitely be back with our children for Back to School. Good to see such a genuinely kind person in retail. It was a pleasant experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend.
You go in 3 days before school starts for new shoes and realise that was an epic parent fail! However we were in and out with 2 new pairs in under 30 minutes. It was busy but they were super efficient.
Never had such a bad experience in a shoe shop before. Young girls giggled and smirked at each other as I tried a shoe on, which proved to be to narrow. Joke on them as I bought 2 pairs at a different shop. Won't bother coming back to be humiliated.
What a great experience - visited in Wednesday 13th October 2021, having been advised by the super helpful Falmouth branch that the Truro branch had stock of a particular pair of boots in Burgundy, size 4.5 for my partner. We arrived without face masks oversight and were greeted by Charmaine I believe, face masks were promptly provided with zero fuss. Charmaine checked stock and fetched the boots that were perfect, pop-socks provided. My partner said she wanted to wear the boots immediately so with a quick discussion over stain protection popped to the back of the shop and spray treated the items, peeled the labels off the soles. I bought the boots and the spray protector. I mentioned that it was my partner's Birthday and Charmaine went over to say the right thing. One of those rare but really special retail experiences. Fabulous.
Looking for school shoes we thought we would go to Clarks again this year. It was chaos, which you would expect at the school shoe time of year. So we had Angela serving us who when we said we wanted to get next size pair of shoes as our daughters school shoes still fitted her also clarks size 3.5f but were getting a little on the small size but she would wear them for now but we would have a size 4f for when she out grows them ready in the next month to save us coming back in. This didn't go down well and Angela was rude from the start. She insisted measuring her feet and told us our daughter was a size 2 , which we could see on the scale she was over the 3 line but clarks always measure on the small size in our opinion as shoes don't last long at all. Anyway we said we want the 4 as her 3.5 are getting small and we were out doing school shopping. She insisted she was a size 2, and wrote in capital letter right across the receipt NRF which meant she told us they would be the wrong size, the whole experience was rude , not one smile , awful customer service, apart from the man at the door telling us where to go he was a nice smiley man, but for spending nearly £50 on a pair of school shoes I tell you know I won't be back.
Came in looking for good quality shoes for work for a specific purpose. Kim showed me a few different shoes saved me a lot of time and my feet are definitely happier now. Both service and products are definitely worth the investment
Booked an appointment to have my toddler's feet measured and received fantastic service from Kelly. She made me feel comfortable and at ease despite the new measurements put in place for covid masks/screens/etc. Kelly was so lovely to my daughter, she didn't even mind her feet being measured. Thank you.
